No. Duelling inside cities and buildings should be disabled.

in addition to cities and inside buildings, also disable dueling near quest hubs and way shrines - like a zone at least 10 sec ride away where disabled.

Quest hubs include all Undaunted pledge areas.

Dueling as a sport or entertainment is fun and good add to ESO. The way it is used to deliberately annoy people in the most populated and frequently visited areas is just a cancer.

People duel in towns because they are looking for dueling partners. That's simply where we can find more people to duel with us. Might be more convenient if Looking for Group tool had some option for duelers.

Unfortunately, I can't participate in towns because I have high bounty on a couple characters and the guards start chasing me in the middle of the duel. :'(

The guards should you chase you away from the town if you start dueling there. Serves you right for disturbing the peace.

To access the bank or dye station, all players should have to compete with the nearest player in a duel XD

i dont see why each major city can't have a duelling pit. like in Kvatch. instead of making it antisocial and annoying- make it a social and interesting and an event. the key is incentivising both the duelling and the acceptance of it- by giving duellers something to fight for - and spectators. we ve seen how people will run around doing crappy events - as we are now- just for a title and a costume.

players could quee to duel outside the arena, practise in smaller areas- and spectators could bet on fights- red or blue- youwouldnt know which was which until the fight began- it'd be a blind bet- but hey it would prevent fixing.. sort of like *** fighting. top duellers would be rewarded with costumes- top betters could be afforded a costume as well. Zos- its clear people LOVE titles, motifs and costumes- put that stuff to something and you can attract the whole bloody community to a pvp or pve style, to a town or to anything really.

right now duelling is a negative to the game- it adds nothing- but it could be a real positive- if Zos had some vision about it.
