Not if you have a character logged into one of those locations that keeps getting endless loads. This is obviously a great thing that so many people are participating in. However, this isn't the first time these issues have popped up.

You guys really need to take large populations into account when designing events like this.

And people have complained that this game is dying, no people playing. lol

Why was this not fixed from last time. Having everyone go to one area is not a good business strategy.

PVP is dead right now, connection is frequently dropping and hell lags!

No problems just now in Glenumbra on PC EU, I zoned in, picked up a quest and did a couple of delves followed by the quest follow-up and completion with not a hint of lag. Plenty of players around and everyone seemed to be doing their stuff just fine.

It looks to me like ZOS learnt the lessons from past events and spread this one out, and although I haven't tried the xp boost as I don't want it I got the impression that it's controlled from your collection rather than necessitating a return to a single quest location so if that's the case (and I'm happy to be corrected on that) then they learnt that lesson too.

If people are suffering lag due to the quest then I suggest either leaving it until tomorrow or at least specifying the quest zone and platform/server concerned.

As for the event itself, it's early days and I've only done one quest so far, but the rewards were fine and I'm amazed again that a holiday event is fully voiced and well animated. It looks thus far like a great effort.

No lags on PC NA. Got my Jesters Festival Invite.

Bought Jester costume, cap, and personality plus Patriarch beard.

Thus garbed, astride my somehow appropriate Cave Bear, accompanied by my Cave Bear Cub, I opened the Jesters Festival Invite.

Couldn't find Ebonheart Festival Pavilion until I visited a Wayshrine and tagged it.

Exited without using the Wayshrine then easily found Jester-King Jorunn. Got my Quest, some Gold, marked the Objective on the Map, and hitherwent. Got the item but found myself Disreputable.

Discovered that my Bounty was the reason for the event Gold "Bonus". Justice System still in full effect. The double XP alleviated the Bounty price.

Rinse & repeat several times for the next Objective. Day One: Silly though sometimes frustrating fun. My Guild's tagline is Have Fun!! Even somewhat pointless tongue-in-cheek objectives can be casual fun.

Join in.

It may be just me but the tons of dueling taking place by the Jesters that are giving the quests can't be helping. I really wish they had a something in place to stop the crap like that from happening.

Everytime I get to the jester in Glenumbra its infinte loading.....

I love the xp, but wish the quests would change daily.

And all are afflicted in the same way.

Three years after release we still get 30sec+ "Request Character Load" and infinite zone load .. GG ZOS!

Just stop paying, its not worth at all
