Morrowind, Mounts and Pets!

Okay so, Ill start by saying I love this game. I have played it so much and I probably wont ever stop! But something that really grinds my gears are the pets and mounts ALWAYS being put on the crown store! Alright, so we have some cool pets we can earn in game but not very many and we have 4 horses which I have never ridden as crown store mounts are far cooler! My request for Morrowind is can we please have Mounts and Pets that are difficult and rare?? For Example you would have a very rare chance at the end of the Vet Trial to obtain a Dwarven spider mount or something along those lines? What do you folks think?

    There are two pets within the current game (Scamp from IC Sewers and Hoaver[sp?] from IC Dungeon achievements).

    However yes mounts have been lacking and it would be nice to have some items added to the game which players can work towards, preferably not locked behind some elite 1% content but more akin to time invested achievements.

    I don't mind working towards something but the whole "no deaths only veteran super content" bugs me.

    Don't forget Razak's Opus from the Bangorai Public Dungeon. Looks similar to the dwemer automaton that comes with Morrowind

    I actually did and keep forgetting about that one.

    Someone else said in another thread about how they should of had wolves for sale on the Gold Coast, and I kind of agree.

    They should have added the standard mounts for sale in game as well for gold (100k?) and then keep the alternate colours as the Crown Store ones. Not as good business sense but much more friendly to the players.

    Horses?

    I get the feeling people would get mad about this some how, as horses are seen as "normal" now.

    Agreed, I love the horses and think I own all but 2 of the normal ones available (I don't have the Sprigan one because I don't care for the wacky ones).
    I really want to find a house with large open paddock for all my horses, but of the ones I previewed nothing looked good.

    There's always a conflict between 'good business sense' and 'good customer relationship'.

    Good business sense pushes for everything to be monetized, to get the most from the customer while providing as little as possible. But customers hate being treated like a self-refilling money bucket.

    There are also the jackal and echalette from the Thieves Guild and Orsinium DLCs.

    But I totally agree. Morrowind needs to have some guar mounts and/or pets available as something you can buy with in-game gold. I'd love to be able to go to a stable in Morrowind and not see the same four horses you see in EVERY stable in the entire world. If you could get a guar mount, that would rock my socks off.

    And a pony guar pet. We NEED a pony guar. :)<3
