Maw of Lorkhaj - Horrible console performance in Homestead (w/ Vid)

I play on PS4 NA. It's worth noting that I use a PS4 Pro, so it should improve performance and reduce crashing. What I'm seeing is significantly better than those with normal PS4 consoles. I am aware that Xbox players are experiencing the same issues.

Notes:
- My game will freeze about 4/5 times on pulling Rakkhat when he teleports to the first pad, but never on the first attempt fighting him
- Entering First Person and looking at the ground/away from the door leading to the first boss would not reduce my FPS. Looking in the general direction of the door messes up performance. We would have multiple players freeze fighting the adds outside that door, and sometimes a few freezes in the very first room with enemies NPCs. Walking towards the Heavy Sack under that structure (where you stand before engaging the last add pull before Zhaj'hassa) also causes some players to freeze on approach.
- Rakkhat only disappears for runners on occasion. If you run a second time (which you can't on Hard Mode) there is a good chance he will reappear. Your friends are not affected by this issue when you are.

Please fix this trial already please. I'm sure that players have already given ZOS tons of info regarding the console performance of Maw of Lorkhaj (and console performance in general). I'd love to see these issues addressed at least somewhat in the near future.

As much as I hype for Morrowind and the new Halls of Fabrication trial, I can't help but feel that it suffer from a ton of performance issues...

You're a PvPer, and main a Stamblade

. I don't expect you to care about the state of PvE. Just imagine the sheer amount of threads that would be created if you crashed in Cyrodiil on teleporting via Transitus Shrine. There would be threads all over the forums about it.

The current endgame PvE is extremely broken right now. vMoL is a mess on console and I hear (though haven't run the trial lately to confirm) that vHRC is also causing people to freeze a lot.

Well the point of creating more than 1-2 threads on a topic is to get ZOS to care. When a topic builds in popularity it gets more attention, and this issue definitely needs it. Hence, a thread was created about it. That's how Forums tend to work....

I had a vid to show off which shows the issues in case people who aren't experiencing it (PC players?) are confused at the complaints or ZOS needs more info.

Nvm I just re-read the other thread and they haven't found a fix... RIP... I've kinda given up on Moondancer to be honest. IA is only like 30 DPS worse without external buffs (just drain) from Asayre's simulations, not worth the time farming it. If it drops cool, if it doesn't whatever. Also keep in mind that because Necro gives you such a huge magicka pool already, other additions to the magicka pool won't result in a significant increase. So in other words, don't sweat it over Moondancer. Although, the looks are pretty sweet

yeah one dev came into a run with us, crashed over 10 times took lots of data and left after the first boss
for us on xbox its AA HRC and VMOL totaly unplayable $:\$ in sanc we have arround 3 dc's but whatever cant complain

we would wait for everyone coming back after dc'ing
making the first adds take arround 10 minutes, the first boss is purely luck based at that point if both healers dc its game over another 10 minute wait.
pets are fine, dps is nice the second boss was surprisingly smooth, then fine up untill rakky then 3+ guaranteed dc's upon aggro. we was trying for arround 2 hours just to get the bust ha, completely unplayable

ZoS drops the ball again and again.

And if we don't have to be here then maybe we will move on to a game that properly patches it's product & takes care of it's End Game PvEr's as opposed to this bs.

While minor compared to the sheer number of cases relating to this on console, a few people I know and also myself have had cases of hard freezing (generally around a 10 second freeze which all of a sudden cuts back into gameplay and if you try to alt tab game instantly crashes) on PC I have had one on rakkhat, 2 in the hallway leading to rakkhat, 1 on the twins and one on the giant Sar'mathra pull, this has only started occuring since homestead and tbh feels like it's actually getting worse. Just something to consider while less game breaking than the console troubles there is definitely something wrong with this trial.

Dont know how but right when homestead dropped we fought thru it bc i wanted the bust even though it was broken. Went back in tonight and streamed on twitch...lost miltiple ppl up to first boss then both tanks on shield phase and said f it.

Same. Got to Rakkhat, and we lose 4-5 every pull before he even hits pad 2. They can fix this ***, or I'll find something better to do with my time.

I know a lot of people are gonna hate me for saying this but what really irritates me is the lack of compensation for these issues. I've played many other MMOs and one that I've cited before in the past (PSO2) provided so much compensation for times the game went down due to outside influences (DDOS) or random server maintence me and my fellow trial guild mates would jokingly call it "Compensation stars Online 2".
Not a good name but still it felt as if they were really sorry.

It would be nice if at the very least players who've played trials would receive something or if not make it some daily or weekly event like trials receive double loot drop from all sources (even chests). This would be at-least something, in PSO2 this would get us a premium pass for a couple days (equivalent to ESO's ESO+

I agree. The content we are talking about is not messed up due to outside influences though. It's 100% ZOS's negligence that caused this.

Mail me my Moondancer sharpened lightning/inferno staves and we'll be cool lol. Apparently running the trial more than like 99.9% of players on PS4 NA and being a Dromathra Destroyer isn't enough to get them -_- that would be enough compensation for me personally. Right now they tell us to wait many more months (no eta on fix) and no compensation whatsoever.

OT: Yes I wish they would make this a priority and get it fixed already, last time we hadn't freezes it was 3+ months until a fix.

I also find it very strange that there is no compensation at all, at the very least throw us some some extra ESO+, Crowns, Rakkhat Bust, and maybe even a weapon of choice for people who were on the top 5 on the previous leaderboards or something. It wouldn't cost them a thing, but would go a long way with customer satisfaction.

I also find it very strange that there is no compensation at all, at the very least throw us some some extra ESO+, Crowns, Rakkhat Bust, and maybe even a weapon of choice for people who were on the top 5 on the previous leaderboards or something. It wouldn't cost them a thing, but would go a long way with customer satisfaction.

I just cant stand when someone has to be 'that guy'. You can bet your bank if the section of the game HE plays was completely and utterly broken for over a month for the SECOND time in the last 6 months, he would be all over the forum. And rightfully so.

We paid for content, we still pay for access to that content and WE CAN'T PLAY THE CONTENT.

But he thinks we should stop opening threads about it.

This is one of the biggest parts of the game, but they prioritise crown crates/crown store and housing. Annoying as *** tbh, get it together ZOS.

I need 1 piece of venom from hel ra for a PvP build but as it's so unplayable I have no hope in finishing the build till they pull their finger out

You're a PvPer, and main a Stamblade . I don't expect you to care about the state of PvE. Just imagine the sheer amount of threads that would be created if you crashed in Cyrodiil on teleporting via Transitus Shrine. There would be threads all over the forums about it.

The current endgame PvE is extremely broken right now. vMoL is a mess on console and I hear (though haven't run the trial lately to confirm) that vHRC is also causing people to freeze a lot.

Shall i pull up all the duplicate threads pvp players made about nerfing Jesus beam, proc sets, sorc shields etc etc until they felt they had been resolved?? Or the please fix cloak ones?? Or the fix the lag in cyro threads?

It is broken, it's been broken, I play the worst class who's defensive ability doesn't even work, I fight unkillable templars and dks, pls explain how pvp isn't broken, random load screens, IC respawns broken, tons of lag, lots of crashes
