    Just kidding. Actually my "preparation" was to make an entirely new character yesterday, since I've been wanting to play a nightblade. Double XP and all, ya know.

    Im gonna get my MagSorc up to Vet and finish grinding CP. Does anyone know if the 100% 2 hour exp is a one time use thing per character or....

    The way it reads appears to suggest it's a one-time buff.

    My stupid ISP didn't work last night even after calling x4 people and sending x4 text messages.

    I wanted to level my baby character to a suitable level so I can focus on the event questline not level up the alt character.

    It is a memento so it can be reused throughout the event. But I am fairly certain it will be our character like other mementos. Each charter will likely need to do at least one jester quest to get the memento.

    I just did the same thing last night! Not for this event, but I wanted one since I scrapped my first one last year. And especially so I can have a little fun shadow prowling with the assassin line.

    But after my 10 hr. day of work today with tape measures, saws and walls, I'll zombie out a bit on these quests tonight.

    I reread the festival info and it appears you are correct:

    Talk to one of the Jesters and complete the intro quest “The Jester's Festival" to get the Pie of Misrule, a special memento that grants a two-hour 100% XP buff during the Jester's Festival period! After the Jester's Festival ends, you'll keep the pie but the buff will be gone.

    I've been told by various sources (reddit, ingame) that this is the second time they had the Jester Festival. Unless they were joking or mistaking the NL festival instead.

    Already see people wearing the jester costume, too.

    I think they might have meant the Ananiversay 'festival' this time last year? Just checked the news/announcements around this time and the months preceed/following, and nothing. So thankfully not losing my mind, yet.

    Regardless, if it will be as enjoyable as the New Life Festival was, that will be good and I'm looking forwrd to it.

    Last year it was just a special price for the Jester's costume and no event. And it was nearer the lore date for this holiday on the 28th April.
