Quigster✭✭✭It seems most of the comments on here are against the change. Personally, I would rather see the effort go into fixing performance issues, tackling the bot problem, or even addressing some cosmetic things (like getting that poor deer out of the tree Eastmarch). Basically the forums are split into 2 camps. 1 Camp says "Omg, this will ruin everything, my build is doom, vet hard mode will be impossible, I'm quitting, all my friends are quitting, this game is dead! *flips desk, kicks the cat and storms out of the room*
The other camp are going "Yeah, nerfs suck but everthing will still be doable, you'll probably just lose a little dps and need to tweak your build to have more sustain" *eats an ice cream and chilllzzz*
Both camps claim the majority and to speak for the mythical "casual" whoever they are.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭I have to say some of the hyperbole from the doom camp is hilarious.
One poster literally said they will be out of resources after 1 rotation!
Which means that right now, on live, 1 rotation will use 84% of their resources. Say what??
Max Regen is dropping by 10%. Most builds have about 1500 regen, so they are looking at losing about 150regen? Swap 1 damage enchant over to regen and you're solid. So you'll lose 174(I think?) spell/weapon damage. Not exactly the end of the world. (night blades really couldn't care less. 900 regen FTW!)
Currently Force pulse costs 2484 Magicka. Max reduction right now is 16%, so that 397 cost reduction. gold spell cost reduction gives you 203 reduction so changing 2 items over to cost reduction will have the same effect, however I honestly think people will get more mileage from adding 1 heavy attack to their rotation and possibly putting some points into tenacity to increase that return.1
