How does elfborn work?

How does this cp work? does it add a straight 25 % more crit damage, meaning that if you had 100% crit you would do 25 % more damage from this passive, or does it add 25 % to the base crit value?

I wondered this too.
So with 25% in Elfborn, does it give you 175% base when you crit i.e. base x (1.5 + 0.25)
Or 162.5% base i.e. base x (1.5 + 0.125) ?

It adds .25 to your critical modifier when maxed. So you have 1.75 * base damage whenever you crit. It is additive and stacks with other crit modifiers like minor force, nb and templar passives etc.
