Just came back to the game on console. And I have a couple questions.

So when the game first came out I bought it on PC, I played for a little while and for whatever reason stopped. Now I have decided to come back to it since there have been some changes to the game and new expansions. I am also a huge Morrowind fan and I just can't pass that up. I know transferring your characters from PC to Console is no longer available (for some stupid reason), but I had the option to link my existing account. What is the point of linking your account? I don't get my characters, crowns, mounts ,or any benefits I had on my PC account, so what is the actual use of this feature?

Also if I subscribe to ESO Plus does that give me access to all of the paid DLC for as long as I am subscribed including the forthcoming Morrowind expansion?

Thank You

That might offer the option again so there's that. Also you still have us pc acct so you could come back and enjoy cheaper gold mat prices and addons

All linking the account does is...
    1) allows you to login with the same info
    2) lets you handle billing info for both servers from the same account, kinda
If you quote someone, and intend for them to see what you have said, be sure to Mention them with @[insert name].

Only reason I got it on Console this time was so I can play with my Cousin.

No eso+ does not give you access to Morrowind since they called it an "expansion" so its technically not covered by eso+ which doesn't make any since anyways. the only reason to get Eso+ I for the crafting bag since it's currently cheaper to buy each dlc outright then pay for a year of eso+

Eso plus will give you access to imperial city, orsinium, thieves guild, dark brotherhood and a couple of new dungeons in shadowfen.

You have to buy morrowind when that comes out.

@Cabius Don't you think that transfering your entire account from PS4 to PC would be kinda unfair to other players, not to mention economy breaking as you could simply transfer, for example, Tempering Alloy which is cheaper on PS4 than on PC and break the economy on PC then

For ESO+, yes it gives you free access to all the dlc in the game for the period of ESO+, but Morrowind is an expansion (think of it as a new game) so you will not get Morrowind with ESO+.

As a xbox to pc transfer I would very much enjoy an account transfer of just my toons, cp, crafting research and crown store items they could completely remove all my gear and materials and i'd farm them again no issues.

Providing account transfers were done in such manner I don't see any problems with them and how they would impact the economy

Ok, I did subscribe to eso plus for now, but I see I can still purchase the dlc in the crown store, I do not need to purchase it if I am subscribed right? Kind of a shame that morrowind isn't included, but I can live with it.

Or only transfer bound items. Or bind any items that were transferred. There are multiple ways around that issue.

I've also noticed you can now buy vampirism and lycanthropy as well as all of the motifs with real money. Doesn't that kind of ruin the economy by destroying supply and demand for those items?

It just means the market for seling bites for 100k has been drastically reduced to around 2k -5k now. Plus, many people now give out free bites.

That being said, I wonder how many actually buy a store bite?

    Motifs are a different subject...
