I always subscribe to MMOs I play. A lot of ppl on these forums have complaints about the game, most of those complaints will cost manhours and thus money to fix.
I've been wondering: how much would you be willing to pay per month for a MMO with a higher standard of service? With GMs actively policing for cheaters, botters and harassment. With enough devs to keep a steady stream of good content?

Do you know what this is a picture of?

It is a picture of ZOS farming us, and they seem to be pretty good at it :) Do they really need more money?

I want ZOS to make buttloads of money so the servers stay up for as long as possible.

$15 a month is my standard/maximum I'm willing to pay. But it also depends on the subscription model. If the price is simply determined by how many months at a time you're willing to pay, I'm okay with it. I've played both Korean and even Western MMO's that had "bronze premium, silver premium, gold premium, platinum premium" and similar 'services' that provide HUGE bonuses over those who don't have these premiums. Those are incredibly difficult to stomach.

So in short, if it has a single subscription plan I may be interested in it depending on the game, up to $15 a month, as long as the bonuses aren't so ridiculous I feel kinda sleezy for using it.

You ever played a Korean mmo called knight online? They made an English version awhile back and is currently on steam although it is full of Turkish people now and very few speak English. They currently have a ridiculous number of premiums. I think playing those is what makes me laugh at some of the p2w claims in eso.

I wouldn't feel Sleezy if they gave me something useful for being a paying customer. With as much money that I have paid for this game they should give me a golden bazooka so I can troll PvP with it and kill zergs in one shot.

However, I do think it is kind of sleezy for them to hide things from me in those crown crates.

What I pay now, ZOS can afford a GM staff they just don't want one.

Or rather Zenimax Media can but then Steve on the BoD won't get that dank new Mercedes coming out.

Okay sure I am being cynical and silly but I've not seen anything from ZOS to convince me otherwise on this matter.
