After so many years still no cloaks/capes.Bethesda do some magic here man.

Im a returning player after years and yes the game has been improved a tons and is fun to play but it is sad that there are still no capes/cloaks in this game.
To me this is a big deal.Cloaks give a more epic feel to any game and makes you like your character more by a factor of 100.
Bethesda zenimax please do this for your game and for your players.Find a way invest in this thing IT's A BIG DEAL and not something to avoid.
Imagine dragons dogma without cloaks it would have been ***.

✭✭✭✭✭Devs have stated that the cloaks you want would kill game performance and the cloaks they could give you, you don't want (because they would be fugly and look like a piece of plywood strapped to your back).
So, it's not going to happen, in this game, ever.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

That's sad they really need to find a way and add cloaks though.I hope some day to find the magic.1 -

Take us back to es3 and give us left shoulder right shoulder left gauntlet right gauntlet that gives us 2 more gear slots to work with just take the current 1 pc ones and split defense down middle also allows us to hybrid armors up and get full bonuses0 -

I mean sure they can look good on certain characters, but some people act like it's an absolutely essential must-have item for every game and there's no way to make a good looking character without them. I don't understand that at all.

but don't buy the cloaks will never happen because kills game performance reason.
I do accept this may be the case with ESO-ZOS. But the concept of cloaks being able to work is not new. If true - the fault is the crappy engine ZOS built, not the sheer inability like some portray here of cloaks = can't be done
EQ2 (Everquest 2) had cloaks - many many cloaks. Types, colors, patterns, etc. An MMO several generations earlier can do it but ZOS can't?0 -

Necromanxer, spears and AH threads die fast. Most requested yet least wanted. Not much widespread desire for any of those items.

They don't hate the idea. They actually tried it. That was how they discovered it can't be done in this game. Whether it is the Physics or the Engine or some Phase of the Moon does not matter. They can't provide the cloaks people would want in a game that people would want to play. Basically, if more than few players are on screen with cloaks that people would want are on, the game turns into a slide show for everyone.
Now, the community probably hates seeing these threads pop up as we all know it can't be done, so why even ask. They may not hate the cloaks (I would not mind seeing them myself), but they hate the threads.
