Have Basic Game Elder Scrolls (One Tamriel/Tamriel) Online.

REBUILT a new gaming rig:

Radeon Software Version - 16.12.1
Radeon Software Edition - Crimson ReLive
Graphics Chipset - AMD Radeon R9 200 Series x2 (cards)
Memory Size - 4096 MB
Memory Type - GDDR5
Core Clock - 1010 MHz
Windows Version - Windows 10 (64 bit)
System Memory - 16 GB
CPU Type - AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor

I am running Google Fiber OPTICS connection...

MAXIMUM DOWNLOAD: UNLIMITED...even tried throttling down 10MBps...


WHY THE HELL AM I GOING ONTO FOUR HOURS AND 35 MINUTES ON MY DOWNLOAD TIME???

THIS GAME SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETED 2+ HOURS AGO!!!

    If memory serves, there is a symbol at the end of the subject line of your OP which gives you the option to edit it if you put the mouse cursor on it. Yeah, I know its features are not user-friendly, but I didn't design the user interface for this forum software.

    Obviously, your computer system cannot receive the data any faster than the Bethesda computer system will send it.

    Congrats on the rebuilt gaming rig. Some day I hope that I can afford to move to and live in a city which has Google Fiber to the home.

    Not only is the game server a limiting factor but any router you go through also will limit it more than the fiber connection deals with. You also will see slower rates due to the interconnects in the computer.

    And then....
    The slowest part may just be applying the gigabytes of data to your base game files, or clean install to your hard drive. Even a SSD(solid state drive, like flash drives) have maximum write speeds of around 400MBps. For a game with 60GB of data(not sure on actual total), that would be at least 2.5 hours, not including download time and breaks in data chunks that slow it down.

    Consider yourself lucky. My internet is my limiting factor and the game took over 24 hours to download. It used to be worse where it took 5 days to download a 27GB game before.

    I left my ps4 on for 1 week when I bought the game.
