so far i have tried a lot of things an came upon [dual wield& one handed and shield] with rattlecage+lich+grothdarr. i came here to ask other experienced players in pvp. what is the strongest build possible for pvp. to go against a huge number of players 2 or 3.. etc in my opinion this is it.

Rattlecage+kagrenacs+valkyn is what I've had most success with..

In PvP, there's no clear "one strongest build."

With that being said, probably my favorite Magplar build I've seen on these forums was 5 Soulshine, 5 Lich, 2 Troll King, and 2 Willpower. 5 heavy, 2 light. Lich S&B back bar, Willpower Swords front bar. Don't be a vampire. You get a huge amount of offense, very solid defense, and substantial durability to go with it. The only drawback of it is mobility, but Magplars are great at holding their ground anyway.

There are many builds out there, my fav up-close-and-personal paladin build is 5 storm knight, 5 overwhelming, and 2 grothdar or skoria 5hvy, 2 light... Very tanky and has suprising burst with the procs up. You can always slot 5 amberplasm instead of overwhelming if you want more recov but with radient aura magickasteal you will be fine. Another great build is 5 Soulshine, 5 clever, 3 willpower, . Losts of dmg, good health, and timed burst dmg. The last one I would suggest is 5 soulshine, 5 amberplasm, 2 grothdar or skoria, and a MSA destro or resto backbar...they all have served me well. This will help on 1v2s and 1v3s but after that if the enemies are competent then you better kite or run. If all else fails thou, you can always go gankplar B)

    I run:

    VMA Inferno (Sharp) WoE enchant
VMA Ice Staff (Sharp) Spell Damage Enchant

2 Grothdarr (2 Valkyn in duels)
5 Kags ( I have 5L and 5H and it depends on what I'm doing, other set piece weights change with it)
    3 Transmutation Jewellery

It does massive AOE and ST damage which is great for both, the comps I play with and when I'm on my own.
Survivability is a bit rough and takes some getting used to - it's easy to get caught in an open space and die but then again, would you get away with a perma block build? Probably not either.

I don't run a stun but play to my strengths and peoples weaknesses (The fact they're dumb enough to follow you into whatever funnel you can get them in)

I run bubble and frost clench which usually keeps me comfy in 1v1's or 2v1's since I can basically silence, root and LOS one or more targets at a time (Not overly strong players who will split)

I like it, a lot of people don't, but then I haven't seen anyone else use it and that's probably got something to do with the fact it's not a 'stand still and hold block whilst you throw spear shards like a ***' setup, you have to actually push more than the 4 buttons templars are at the minute.

Soulshine, Rattlecage, and Skoria. While at the same time be a Argonian vampire, and make sure you're running 5,1,1
