I wonder if there is a way for you to ease up on some of the prices of the items in the CS. Seriously, I buy the top pack of 5500 for $40. Most of the houses are twice the price of a single pack which means we are having to buy double packs or more just to have enough crowns to buy a decent house in a nice farming area. I bought the Windhelm home and was gravely disappointed by the lack of intractable items within. I am also shocked at the prices of the Motif packs which seem exorbitantly high. The fact that earning gold to the tune of 1M seems outrageous considering the number of quests that have to be run in order to earn that money. Please, give us a break.

The prices are what they are probably because enough people are paying for Crown packs at the current prices. I do think now though it would be good if they added a new Crown pack, perhaps a 10,000 Crown pack (which has a slightly lower price per Crown), but again that would only be a nicety and ZOS has no obligation to change anything.
My advice to you is wait for Crown sales to purchase your Crowns if you are disgruntled by the prices. Surragard✭✭✭✭Have to wait for crown store sales. Also, questing does not make you gold in this game. If you want to earn in-game gold faster you're going to have to grind and sell. Run some searches on these forums. There are many threads on strategies for earning gold faster but questing isn't one of them.I don't always drink Skooma, but when I do I go to the Southwall Corner Club. We as a community enjoy playing the game; but as a community have the privilege of communicating with the company (aka: ZOS), in an attempt to 'Ask' the company for certain things.
