PSA on this little bit of advice: Do NOT use a fake email for your account, if you log in from a different computer, or even if your modem changes its' IP for some reason, you'll be locked out as you'll need a verification code that's going to an email that doesn't exist.

also tip, make your email something you could tell your girlfriends mom, will save you embarrassment when you need to contact support.

So lame is they are just gonna send emails. Why cant they just make in-game ads? They could advertise Bethesda Store stuff, soundtracks etc. And maybe even do some mass-marketting when some big product comes.

I just lost a ton of respect from them, just do in-game ads and do it for single playing games too.

Lets not forget that in-game ads has been done before too.

So, yeah, the fact that people are "leaving/unsubscribing" just because the parent company added a Third-Party Marketing paragraph to their generic corporate privacy policy is definitely "shocking".

Tying this to ESO in-game advertising is laughable.

The best part about that is these people will probably go sign into Steam and play some Skyrim or maybe TES Legends via the Bethesda Launcher.

I cant understand why people are against in-game ADs, Bethesda is simply too big to fall. Fallout and ES series are just way too valuable for players, even they started to make in-game ads, players just needed to suck it up.

They'll change this policy periodically and since you can't log into account management without accepting the new policy in full, I think you really need to go one step further.

Explicitly forbid them from sharing any of your personal information now or ever regardless of whatever policy they have in place.
