Fire damage for DK

Just wondering who would like the passive for dks to get x more fire damag/physical or poison damage kinda like how sorcs get shock/physical it would make stam dks be able to use more of the skills that arnt as good for stam uses

I play a aggressive tank and i miss the fire damage i used to do back in the day but not have to rely on magic damage and staffs

My first post here just looking to see if anyone else misses it

    DKs do have World in Ruin, boosting the damage of AoE abilities that deal Fire or Poison damage, and I think it boosts the damage of the status effects, too.

    Yeah thats true if it gave us more damage that would make a noticeable difference on aoe
    Or more stam morphs like ash cloud could use a posion/physical morph that scales off stam/wdam to help with having more skills to use

    It's 6% more damage. That's almost as much as the Dunmer racial boost to flame damage. It's a pretty substantial buff. The Magicka side definitely doesn't need a boost to this passive. Magknights are already a serious contender for the strongest DPS class.

    I do agree that Stamknights need something extra. I think the biggest problem with World on Ruin on the Stamina end is that there are very, very few poison damage AoE abilities. Also, the poison morph of Engulfing Flames (I forget the name) needs to either apply Minor Fracture instead of Major Fracture (since Major Fracture is redundant in group content) and get a damage buff to compensate, or it needs to get a different debuff entirely.

    Giving it some more thought, I think it probably would make sense to change World on Ruin to buff all fire/poison damage, then reduce the damage of the Magicka side's abilities slightly as needed to maintain balance. And some more Stamina morphs for you guys wouldn't hurt, either.

    Yes exactly just to even it out a bit magicka dks are very strong but stam is solely DoT would be nice to mix up my skills and not have to rely on weapon skills and only venomclaws
    Noxious breath should only be minor because its an excellent DoT for tanks but wasted because of you taunting and getting the major facture

    For aoe posion they need to change cinderstorm and make it posion would give stam dks a good aoe to use and make it linger after they leave like it does already just wont be fire damage

    A good skill to look at is inferno which is fire damage but scales off the highest statistic
    CP will effect it so magic will be better but it still hits hard for stam need more skills like this
