You just sold your soul to Moloch Baal (Molag Bal), the lower astral entity worshipped by the media corporations. Not joking (wish I was).

The more I think about this the more I dont like it.

I accept that nothing I do is private on internet. I accept that what I do on my computer can be checked and monitored. Thats fine.
I accept that companies like google and facebook sell your information because thats how they make money. its what they do.
    But this is different.
This is ZoS, a gaming company, selling my information. I paid for their game, I pay for a sub, I buy crap from the crown store.
And now on top of that ZoS decides its going to sell my information for profit?

ZoS could have decided to not sell my information. They didnt have to do that. But they did.
As far as I know, they are the only MMO company that has a privacy agreement and sells your information.
I have lost all respect for ZoS as a company.

How can they cater to you, if you dont let them know what your interests are, your habits are, what makes you want to buy things.

This is just another way for them not to steal your privacy... But in better words, conduct research on you so they can give you product made from what they found out.

    Privacy? NO. Research Yes.

Just like marketing, they sterotype people.... Friendly words... Segmenting people.
    Sterotype? NO. Segment Yes.

    Welcome to the PG era.

True, but people apparently need to sputter, protest, and become outraged over something they've done with other purchases a thousand times over the years.

This time is different, I guess. Probably more mob mentality than anything. Whatever.

This statement really drives home an important point.

Seems a lot of people don't pay any attention at all to the privacy policies of the companies that they deal with.
