How about a chat channel dedicated to purchasing and sales? It would help filter out the chat for the zone/say/yell/whisper window from sales and purchasing spam.

If you had the choice between two channels, one meant for selling but regarded as spam and thus filtered out by everyone, and one for general chat, grouping etc which is read by everyone. Which one would you spam to sell your stuff?1 -
