you could always ask for a new server that has no lvl's or quests, and also gives you purple armor by mail every ten levels. Then you could spend your time doing those dungeons to get the, ohh wait you will already have the armor.

Or you could try and play through the vast storyline of elderscrolls, that many people made for your enjoyment ?.

There was a time many moons ago when people played mmo's, expecting them to take a long time to get to the endgame.

I could level another toon easy and it would be fun! but if I had to go hunt down books to get lvl 10 in the mages guild one more time I'd blow my brains out.

If you're on PC, there's an addon that shows them on the map. There's more than one copy of each book.

Some things you just can't "fast level" very easily, as has already been said. These include Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and your riding skills. However, there are ways to speed up the process.

Mages: addons help you locate books. Go for books to complete a set, as a complete set gives more XP toward Mages Guild than single books. Still, this on really is a grind.

Fighters: run around in Imperial City, Imperial Sewers, or Coldharbour. Also, complete the Fighters Guild quest line.

Horse: No easy fix here except to use Crowns to buy riding lessons.

General levelling: go for areas where you will be "battle levelled" as you'll gain the most XP in these areas. These include, for example, Imperial Sewers, or Wrothgar. Craglorn is good too. It is why so many people run around the Sewers or Old Orsinium - there are some good routes where you can literally run around great big circles, killing anything as you go. By the time you reach the start of the circle, you'll find mobs have respawned and you can go again. Finally, when you hand in quests, make sure your skill bar has skills on it that need to level, as the XP is shared among those skills.

Avoid doing this in your home areas. You'll still gain XP, but not as quickly. Oh, and use potions and/or scrolls too, as these really will help. And make sure you're in a full set of gear with the Training trait, as this will also help a huge amount.

Using the above, I was able to take my new MagBlade to level 50 a whole 10 levels before my friend - we started at the same time and generally quested together.

    Hope this helps :)

So you don't know how to lvl up, I don't think your healer will be a worthy one. Maybe for normal dungeons or some vets with strong team. I wouldn't try going with that healer for vet trials.

To become a good healer you need to dungeon alot, play on all roles: tank, stamina dd and mag dd. Only then you will understand what is expected from you and how to readjust for different dungeons/trials and teams.

Have you templar'd before? If so, skyreach, or half a dozen grind zones.

If not, play the character. A maxed character you don't know how to play will not help your guild.

Do the main zone map icons (they usually net good XP and often a skillpoint.)

Do the normal 4 man dungeons and pledges. Big XP, skillpoint per dungeon.

Max your skills and get your skyshards/lorebooks on the way - you'll need them anyway.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

Guys, I've healed on a dk for vet dungeons and trials, and I've leveled four other characters. Pardon if you think I'm trying to avoid the story line -again-, lol.

you can make it to 50 in less than 2 weeks on the non- vet campaign, incl. having assault+ support lines maxed out, skyshards, and most dungeon achievements. I say less than 2 weeks cuz i like to stay as long as possible in non - vet, and have to avoid xp gains.

Why the race to level cap?

I hate to be the bearer of bad (to you) news but hitting 50 just begins a new leveling system (CP's).

We must be very different people because I enjoy the story and learning the new areas. I've been "Level Cap" in so many games and learned it's just a different grind when you hit the magic number of level cap.

Go go speed racer!! I hope you get there soon!!

Any tips on how to get to 50 asap? I'm trying to get a templar healer leveled for my guild and I'm lucky to get 3 or 4 levels a day. I've tried questing, I've tried just going after delves and skyshards while ignoring quests, I've tried xp potions (which imo just ended up being a waste of gold), nothing seems to have any significant impact on how fast I level up.

Yeah as other people have said on here. Even if you hit 50 in 2 hours you are still going to be severely handicapped since you don't have maxed skill lines or enough skyshards to fill out the stuff you want/need. You might as well just quest and go through zones to get that stuff as you go.

Because I already have several characters, cp isn't a problem, and I'm just looking to get a templar up there to replace my dk for endgame healing.

The story was nice the first time around but it's repetitive after that.

As long as you are using a full training gear set, you can manage to get it up to 50 in a week or less depending how often you play, just go between grinding and questing. Do maybe two zones worth of questing and the rest grinding, you'll get it done without getting burnt out of playing.

I wear all training gear. At the moment on my new DK I'm literally just questing a little on my days off. Ive done the starting area in DC plus 3 main areas. I arrived at Alikrs Desert last night before bed leaving that and Bangkorai left.

I'm level 24 right. Having gained 8 of those levels last night, whilst also playing Wildlands on my xbox at the same time lol

Just grind quests if you're solo :)

If you can some form of XP booster, Crown or in-game potion. Then find some kind soul to drag you through a few of the dungeons on non-vet. Get the skill points you need, and some questing XP. While you're at it, see if you can get someone to go though Skyreach Catacombs/Pinnacle a few times.
