As a PvE player would you recommend running Julianos +Spinners / Spinners + Lich / Clever Alchemist + Spinners? Been farming for Burning Spell Weave and someone tells me last night I'm wasting my time. Right now I'm running Julianos + Spinners but as ready to try something new and am open to any recommendations.

Running Burning Spell Weave is definitely the most damage dealing 5-piece set for Magicka DPS. As a Magicka Sorcerer, using Illambris
is most definitely the best 2-piece set for them. For Jewelry, beginner sets would be 3-piece Willpower, front bar a gold non-set Lightning Staff with a Weapon and Spell Damage enchant. Back bar would be a non-set Inferno Staff with the same enchant. Once you have done some trials, 4-piece Moondancer/Infallible Aether (3 jewelry pieces and an IA/MD Lightning Staff with Spell/Weapon damage enchantment) are the most damage dealing sets. Back bar would be a Maelstrom Inferno Staff with the Maelstrom enchant.
All pieces are divines (body-pieces), Sharpened (weapons) and Arcane (jewelry). Focus on making weapons gold first.

✭In any non-preformed group Julianos/Lich is a winning combination.
When you get into pre-formed groups with dedicated support players running support abilities you can drop the Lich for a Damage set over the sustain set.
I have tried Burning Spellweave/Lich and Scathing Mage/Lich and even combined Spellweave and Scathing and I keep coming back to and prefer Julianos/Lich on a mag sorc.
For a pet build I would prob go 5 Necro, 3 Willlower, Masters Staffs if you have them or can get them.0 -

I have run 5 julianos and 5 lich (back bar) many times with 2pc ilambris. In a unorganised group that don't help you sustain, it's a great mix. If i run the thief stone, all spell damage enchants on Jewelry and inner light slotted, I get 41k magika, 2700 spell damage and 61% crit.
For even more dps you could slot trap beast and bound aegis if you don't use many skills
Once you find a group that helps you heal and sustain consistently well, you could swap for infalliable aether or moon dancer or any other high damage set0
