Never got mine in sharpened so i decided to quit and just back bar it on all my classes with a rotation to fit. Doing 40k dps on my dk with the 523 setup so dont fret too much if u never get a sharpened one cause you can still pull very high deeps with it on back bar so id say take what you got and use it until you get what you want and dont bang your head if u dont have it yet just know that eventually youll get it
Hey Everyone,
I have been grinding Maelstrom a lot lately about 75+ runs so far. I have gotten all I need with the exception of an Inferno - Sharpened. I have gotten a Precise Inferno, but would really like the sharpened. How long did it take everyone before you got yours? I have seen some posts with some horror stories about 300+ runs without it. I really hope that is not the case for me, as I am getting sick of this arena.
Thanks.

@DRXHarbinger You know my struggles, bruh. Lol. 400+ clears and never seen a precise or sharpened inferno staff in the final chest or weekly reward. I've also never encountered a sharpened lightning staff either. Over 400 runs... Four hundred.

Weapon Traits
Developer Comments:Similar to how Mundus Stones were changed, Weapon Trait values have also been rebalanced with a focus on improving overall diversity. Almost all Weapon Traits were buffed, with the exception of Sharpened and Defending which were nerfed due to them over-performing. They should still remain one of the strongest options for increasing your damage or survivability, but now the power difference between them and other traits is no longer so massive.
Prosperous was completely re-designed to grant a new combat function and will be an interesting choice for builds seeking to maximize resource recovery gains. Pairing the Divines trait with a recovery Mundus Stone will grant more recovery for that particular stat, but Prosperous will grant more recovery overall.
- Adjusted the values and bonuses of most Weapon Traits in the following ways, with the listed values being for Two-Handed, gold-quality items:
- Decisive: Increased the chance to generate one additional Ultimate to 40% from 34%.
- Defending: Reduced the Spell and Physical Resistance granted to 2752 from 5160.
- Infused: Increased the bonus value granted to the applied enchantment to 30% from 20%, and increased the cooldown reduction to the applied enchantment to 50% from 40%.
- Nirnhorned: Increased the bonus to the weapon’s damage to 15% from 11%.
- Powered: Increased the bonus to healing done to 9% from 7%.
- Precise: Increased the Critical Strike Chance granted to 9% from 7%.
- Sharpened: Reduced the Spell and Physical Penetration granted to 2752 from 5160.
- Charged, Intricate, Ornate, and Training remain unchanged.
- The Prosperous Armor Trait has been re-designed to give it a combat function. It now grants 11 Health, Magicka, and Stamina Recovery as a gold-quality item, instead of gold gain.
- Reduced the damage on the Damage Health (Oblivion) weapon enchantment by approximately 6%.
- Weapon enchantments will no longer proc if the initial attack is dodged.

You just switch up the mundus/CP depending on the trait you have. The difference in damage will be negligible.
Besides, you probably don't even need vMA staves next patch. Infused with spell damage enchant is going to be very strong.

I am a min-maxer and the 0,4% more damage I get from Precise+Lover+freed CPs from Spell Erosion do matter for me :-D.
