What is the "Mark as Junk" Option at the Bank.

Hiya,

Over the weekend, I was storing some items in the bank and, as I usually do with items that I'm saving to research later, I used the 'Options' menu to lock each item before depositing it.

But this time when I went to do that, I noticed a "Mark as Junk" option for some items.

Two quesitons:

(a) Has that option always been there and I somehow just didn't notice? and

(b) What would happen if I marked something as junk? Does it get destroyed?

a. yes since launch

b. no just gets put into the junk tab for now but be careful if you do sell all junk to vendor, because if it goes over the limit you won't be able to buy back a few things

(b) Nope. Ash and Carapace etc. Is automatically put into the miscellaneous tab, where as the final tab in your inventory is the 'Junk' tab.

(a) Good grief. How did I not notice that before now. <smacks head>

(b) Ahhhhhh, so if I mark something as Junk, it would go under the section with the Ash, Carapace, etc. that I pick up throughout my adventuring and end up selling to vendors?

It's always been there. It's a useful way to move everything to an "Other" category for purposes of selling, decon, research, etc, vice having to locate it each time under it's otherwise assigned category.
