Any tips on how to get to 50 asap? I'm trying to get a templar healer leveled for my guild and I'm lucky to get 3 or 4 levels a day. I've tried questing, I've tried just going after delves and skyshards while ignoring quests, I've tried xp potions (which imo just ended up being a waste of gold), nothing seems to have any significant impact on how fast I level up.

You can prob level really fast by killing mobs...... up in Craglorn.

    But you need skyshards.
    And lore books.
    And Fighters guild.
    ......Undaunted.
And how is your horse btw?
Fast levelling is a myth ..... truly it is.

Skyreach in Craglorn. Pop the new XP pots and you can max a character in 2 hours is paired with one other. That would probably be 4 hours without the XP Pot. Full training would probably add a lot.

Fast leveling isn't a myth, but it is true there is more than just getting to level 50 when fully speccing a new character.

If you have a partner, Skyreach catecombs grinding is fastest.

If you are by yourself, I always grind at Motalion Necropolice in Alikir Desert.

day 1-2 - run around getting shards and lorebooks- doing main quest, and mages guild quest
day 3 - level 20-50 in imperial city sewers- this way i get fighters guild, make keys, telvar stones and level all at once- as well as getting plenty of stuff to decon and level
day 4- i move on to sky reach finish levelling my combat skills - finish off getting shards in cyrodil , craglorn and imperial city etc

so in 4 days - maybe 6 hours a day. roughly its easily achievable to be combat ready- maxed skills in 4 weapons, all armours, class skills maxed- and i have a player that has just been created - that is ready to go into any campaign , delve or trial and mix it up.

but the things i always have are- full training gear- which is 7 armour pieces training at 3, levels 20 and 40 and cp160. a *** ton of potions for XP and repair kits. remember if ur gear breaks down u dont get the bonus. having training gear is really a good investment. if ur grinding then do it right and spend the gold on training gear, find someone to marry to get ring of mara bonus and a grind partner for another few percent- it all adds up and ur talking about halving ur time .

the other thing is- find a place to grind where u can make use of ur time - so when i grind post 50 - i make sure its somewhere i can get gear or gold as well, and if I'm sub 50 i m getting keys and stones so i m making money, gear, while i grind levels- I'm making the most of my time even if I'm doing something repetitive, and the reverse- i dont use my main to farm gear- i use my alts - so while I'm getting spriggans or spinners or whatever - I'm levelling that alt's inner magelight, trap beast or 3 rd weapons skill line or whatever.

if u make the most of ur time doing it - it can actually be productive and not feel like a grind.

If you really want to level fast, just get somebody to craft full purple training gear (80-88% XP bonus) for you, buy psijic ambrosia (50% XP bonus) or buy major XP scroll / mythic ambrosia (150% XP bonus), group with one other person (10% XP bonus) and grind in cracked wood cave (if your faction has a lot of enemy keeps you get up to +11% XP bonus) or similar spot. Another 10% XP bonus if you are ESO Plus member. You can go from 10 to 50 in a few hours.

Otherwise, tbh I find there is not really any need to grind in this game anymore. These days you can get to 50 in a week or two just playing the game normally in PVP or whatever you enjoy doing. It used to take 6 to 8 months leveling up to veteran ranks in PVP.

    1. Make one of every class you might eventually want to level- just use them as mules in the meantime and give them a little gold - park them near a stable. Each day login each one and just train the mount. Then when you get around to actually leveling the alt, the mount will at least be somewhat upgraded.

    2. On the alt you want to level, just get to level 10 - run around the first zone or two grabbing skyshards, should do the trick.
craft all lvl 10 purple training gear. grab a few xp potions. At lvl 10 go into Cyrodiil and do the tutorial quest for 2 free skill points. Go grab all the skyshards in the first zone or two of your faction.

    3. drink your potions and have a friend or guildmate with a good AoE class- (magsorc, stamsorc, magdk, magplar, etc...) - run you through Skyreach Catacombs just aggroing and AoEing down all the trash mobs. This will get you from 10-50 in roughly 2-4 hours, depending on how fast your friend is.

    4. Now go back to your faction areas and just grab all skyshards and faction quests for each zone.

You'll have a max level toon with plenty of skill points in like roughly 10-15 hours, all in, this way.
Then you'll just need to work on fighters guild/ mages guild/ undaunted.

    ^This.^

In my opinion, getting a new character to Level 50 is the easy part.

Getting a new character enough skill points for end game activities is the hard part.

That means most (if not all) skyshards, zone main quests, and group dungeons ... to accumulate said skill points.

Healers don't need meteor or FG skill lines and undaunted is pretty meh for them given they mostly wear 7 light such as running both spc and sanctuary or worm etc.

OP best way to do it is use all training gear and pots and run random dailies on normal. You'll rinse it up, get the skill points at the same time. Grinding sky reach leaves you needed tons of skill points and you'll only end up running them anyway. It's kind of counter productive for a healer and you won't have half your required skills on for it.

Of all the grinds including Auridon dolmens and delve grinds posted on Youtube,

I found the Greenshade grinding the fastest. A lot of grinding guides on Youtube only seems suitable for max level characters grinding CP rather than leveling from 1-50. Get purple training gear, potion, crown exp scroll, and go to Rootwater Grove. Get the quest there, activate 2 out of 3 shrines, and when you get close to enemies in the area, the quest summons 2 imps around them and takes out half of their health at the same time.

Automatically, you have four, instead of two enemies, to kill for exp. Plus, it's a lot easier cause the other hp on the other two mobs are halved instantly the moment you approach them. Sure, there are many other places to grind, but most of other grind spots seem to require better gear/skill level to efficiently farm without dying or having to heal in between the mobs.

It's always really easy to find grind spots and just grind away to 50 in 6-8 hours, but I've found that the best way to make a level 50 character useful is to:
    1) Collect every Lore Book and Skyshard in every zone.
    2) Do the main questlines in every zone.
    3) Complete all of the Public Dungeons and their group events in every zone.
    4) Destroy every Dolmen in each zone.
It won't level you to 50 the fastest, but it will get you a pretty high ranking in Fighter's Guild, Mage's Guild, and a healthy amount of skill points by the time you reach 50.

Meteor is nice on a healer on your main healing bar just for the recovery/ mag from Mages guild passives. Certainly not necessary - just a nice little touch.

Warhorn is your primary ulti though.

Join those Dolemn groups that constantly run around, you end up leveling pretty fast and you get lots of good loot. Also Ambrosia leveling potions FTW
As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.
