Maybe im just lacking information but it seems theres no good way to get gold aside from selling in guild traders.
Lately ive been making money from selling furnishing blueprints but they dont sell as well anymore so im hardly getting any gold.
Any suggestions?
Is there a simple method im overlooking? Or are guild traders the only efficient way to earn?

You can make lump sums of gold selling in guild traders sure. But don't overlook the gold you can make from selling all your loot and stolen items.

If I sell loot from running daily pledges and then sell my limit of stolen goods, I make something like 10-15k for an hour or so worth of playtime.

Do that on multiple characters and then supplement it with guild trader sales and you be making a fair bit of gold.

Crafting writs can be useful if you're not doing those.

8 x level 50 characters = approx. $4k each per day = $32k total per day = $224k per week = $896k per month. Even if you have put no skill points into any crafting, the gold received is the same.

Takes an hour or so per day, depending on if your crafters have to visit 2-3 drop off locations per day or only the one location.

Plus you then get mats you can sell at the traders.

If I'm short on gold, I provision like crazy and then sell it all to a merchant. It might not be extremely quick, but every little bit helps. Also, I fish a lot. I sell the stuff I catch that I don't want. If you get a rare blue collectible fish, it's worth 110 gold. I also caught a gold tier furnishing item and I sold that for a pretty penny.

Yesterday afternoon I had about 1200 gold. When I signed off just a little while ago, I had over 18k. Some of the ways I have of earning gold are boring enough to make your eyes bleed, but I feel like they are pretty effective.

Another thing you can do is your crafting writs. Five minutes of work for hundreds of gold and free crafting items really pays off!

I'm a little bummed though because I've got 2 perfect roe for sale in our guild shop for 7k each and neither of them has sold. That's a full thousand gold less than I've seen it anywhere else. Oh well, it will sell or it won't.

You can take advantage of the "Justice System" In game. Steal items in cities, pickpocket NPCs and then fence them in a local Outlaw Refuge. If you do this regularly, and spend points in trafficker, you can make roughly 15-20k a day on one character. If you utilize all of your character slots (8 base 12 if you have purchased the additional slots) that is about 120k - 180k a day if you're only selling green, blue, purple and gold items (though the latter two are rare you can still average 15k+ a day per character.) Which is 1,260,000 a week. Add that to your guild trader sales, daily rewards, quest rewards, etc. Making money is exceptionally easy in this game. The only excuse people have for not making money in ESO is laziness.
