For the record, he was 1-hit by Rakkhat with the Lunar Bastion pad buff, it happens on Pad 3 every time and has wiped us 4 runs and attempts in a row.

Atleast you can get there on console we get 6 dcs at the first adds then 6 more at the next, it's completely unplayable, don't hold your breath mate you won't be seeing a fix anytime soon mol hel ra and aa have been broken for us for a month

Ps sometimes lord warden glitches out the pad buff causing your tank to get banged

We're gonna have him Magma Shell for the next attempts on Pad 3. Even if it's a 1 hit, he will live it. We tested. Sucks we have to do this.

Have you tried a run where everyone stays away from the pad until the Rakkhat teleport?

I've had this happen before and know alot of others who have had this issue too, but sometimes the buff get's stolen by another player.

No idea. The video shows he has a Golden aura, and his block animation is showing. This has only happened to us post-Homestead. May be player issue, or our new positionings for the last 2 weeks, but it only happens once in the whole attempts. After we failed that last one, we turned Difficult Mode and began progression since we had wiped, and it didn't happen. We switched it back to Normal Veteran after finishing and cleared. No issue. Something else; last week, its the only time it happened 2-3 times in a row. Turned DM off and back on, and it stopped.

Very confusing issue.

I think @Nifty2g was experiencing the same issue in a thread he made a few days ago, definitely seems to be a pretty consistent bug with HM, the lunar bastion aura can clearly be seen on the tank and I think it was mentioned that pad 3 was the culprit as well. @ZOS_Finn @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom could we please get this looked into, sort of halts all HM progression if it stays as is.

THIS BUG I HATE IT SO MUCH

I know some groups had this bug before Homestead but since Homestead was released it became even worse. It happens really often on 3rd platform. Our group is trying to get no death and guess what? I die.

Also no, it's not always tank's fault. To check this ask offtank to taunt boss and get lunar buff. If offtank stays it means main tank is noob, otherwise it's bug.

We had the same yesterday. It wiped us for 2 hours. Not once or twice or three times... for 2 hours -.- same story, tank had the aura on him but it disappeared for no reason and we haven't done anything different than we usually do. Its a shame this bug rng affects raids so much.

Can pets take the pad buff? From memory weve only experienced this bug once and I wanna say it was the only time we had someone run a pet. Our tanks run Lord Warden, ebon, alkosh and powerful assault.

In my 100+ runs I never seen this bug 'yet' (inb4 jinxed), so maaaaybe someones pet or someone took the pad buff from the tank, or the tank had 'Armor Shattered' debuff on him.

Had this in a vet run (not hardmode) and it made us wipe 3 times, after that all we did was make sure nobody stayed even close to the platform and..we just did it.

@reesenorman We don't run pets in the team on Rakkhat.

@modaretto He was hit by a 124,000 damage hit, and as you can see he WOULDN'T have the time for two-three shatters from the Hulk, the first hit on Pad 3 killed him.

We're gonna have to play around it and have him Magma Shell on 3. We tested and he could solo tank it by doing that (even without the pad buff).

I wonder if there is a sweet spot on pad some of the pads.

From our perspective we may think that the WHOLE pad should actually give the working buff.

Perhaps only a small PART of the pad will give the actual working buff while the rest of the pad gives the appearance of the buff, but not the actual damage mitigation that is associated with that golden aura.

TLDR - Looks can be deceiving.

Your tank is blocking 100% of the time he standing on pad 3?

When tank gets hit by an orb from middle (pad 3, 5 and 7) and dont block this orb, he loose his buff for a very short time. We just could find this out because we looked at a video in 0.25 speed...

Oder falls wer übersetzen kann:
Auf Plattform 3 5 und 7, also immer wenn runner auch nach hinten müssen. Kommen kleine blaue Kugeln aus der Mitte. Treffen diese den tank und er blockt nicht, verliert er sofort seinen goldenen Buff...
Lösung er darf niemals nicht aus dem Block

What? I've had this bug happen once

Other times it was happening was on pad 1 when i was doing igneous + absorb during gun and it kept removing it.

I don't get it.. watched your short clip, but still don't get the problem. It is vMoL!!! You people playing it are all crazy! Working more than 40 hours a week, I don't have time to frustrate myself and suffer through hours and hours of it. Ha ha. ESO should just turn pro and make vMoL into a professional competition and start paying/rewarding the players/competitors.

That's what happened in my video, check the time - would have been a 26minute clear with no deaths on hardmode couple months ago. Then that bug or something killed me.
