sharpened briarheart weapons - do they exist?

Title says it all. I think I read in a thread somewhere that they don't, and I can't find any sharpened weapons of that set. Seems they only come in precise, infused, decisive and defending. What kind of smart loot is that in a state where sharpened is so strong.

I know there are better sets out there, I just wanted to test it's potential on a back bar.

You are correct I'm afraid...Sharpened Briarheart weapons do not exist in the game data.

I just went through this whole process. Had a build in mind that required sharpened weapons. Had all the gear thought out. Now I can't do the build I want because there is a bug in the game.

Whenever we find a problem like this, are we just boned? Is this a dead end? Does the customer service process not allow for any kind of relief for this sort of issue?

I don't really think you can expect a fix soon. They care less about set balance in general. There are sooooo many sets that would have potential to be fun and efficient to use (briarheart being one of them) and they would only need a little number tweaking to be interesting. I plan on doing an overhaul thread of those sets to make them worth using, but I fear that it will be lacklustre overall....

They do indeed now exist in the game data, assumably since the Dragon Bones DLC (update 17).

Do you realize you necroed a year-old thread? In the mean time the drop tables have been revised, and now Briarheart, as well as other sets that only dropped in certain traits, now drop in all of them. With the changes in CP (Morrowind) and traits (Dragon Bones), sharpened is no longer desirable, and revising the drop table has actually made Precise, which is a better trait, drop only half as often.

So this is a necro thread, but...

As of Horns of the Reach, weapons and armor from the Briarheart, Mark of the Pariah, and Trinimac sets will now drop in the full set of normal traits, not including nirnhoned.

I've looted two sharpened daggers from chests.
