What and Where Are "Nobles"?

I keep hearing talk about how nobles should be sought after for stealing and killing, as they tend to have the best forms of loot. However, where can these individuals be found? Also, how do you identify them from regular NPC's?

The pickpocket prompt also shows the type of NPC
"Stand strong, stay true and shelter all."

Crouch, then read the text for the pickpocket prompt. Should show NPC's "class".

Nobles usually don't hang out in the streets. They're usually wealthy and are to be found in their homes. The cosier /richer the home, the higher chance there is to find nobles in them. Look in mansions, castles and residential districts.

LOL ! Hadn't thought of that but just checked : you're right, the NPC's in the brothels (like the one in Ebonheart) are actually "nobles" ! Good catch ! :-)

So I'm guess like The Gold Coast or Coldharbor?

Not necessarily. Every major town has bigger houses with NPCs inside.
