What if ZoS added Mythic Attunable Crafting Stations

As in like 500 writ vouchers, and allows you to craft a dungeon set? Such as use clothing and allows you to either make burning spellweave from the comfort of your own home.

Make crafting great again!
Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

Most people would probably despise this but from my view...

Yes, Oh God Please Yes. But maybe make it 750 Vouchers.

not a fan right off **but IF this were the case** it should require a BoP set token from the final boss in the dungeon or the final quest or both.

If they ever go with a token type system this could be one method but as long as they are staying with the grind for trait/type/set/piece you want model, i do not see this as happening or balanced with the other content options.

750 seems reasonable actually considering the dungeon sets. Also, it allows us to choose the item style.. which would be amazing af.

BoP token from dungeon loot is also very reasonable. Makes it grindy so content is being played, but you know you definitely will get what you want.

Actually, the token should be a 100% drop from deconstructing a piece of the set you want to craft.

That would be a real, good, feasible token system.

Now, if they make the item "once-tradeable", meaning I as the crafter can trade it once to someone else, whereupon it would be bound, that would be my crafter's wet dream.

I have a better Idea: Add crafting stations to said dungeons!
And use old attunables to get one in your home. (Also need to add the sets dropping in zones for crafting)

looking at my own collection of burning spellweave et al, i think that would be over the top. . it would come close to making just a few runs thru even the outlying bosses enough to get a full set of whatever you want.

unless of course they changed the set piece drop rates/parameters.

So you're asking what if ZOS placed a new tier of crafting sets behind required voucher which also requires purchasing a home.....and doing harder crafting writs which can only happen if they gain x of motif and do daily writs

I'd say that would be bad because you can freely craft a home, it requires lots of gold

Not a fan of this. It would just make people stop running certain dungeons. 500 voucher isn't that much, someone said the got an 339 vouchers writ. Asked for a SS lol that seems alot from one writ.

If it hapoens It should be BoP so you'll just use the crafting station just once. As someone stated it should require a rare item from boss per piece of items you create so you running the dungeons anyways. It's just a bad idea sorry OP

Here's my interpretation of a system for this:

You can only craft armor pieces, no weapons, or jewelry.

Create new crafting stations, "Artificers [Station Name]"

This station needs a very rare final boss drop that only drops from the vet final boss in order to attune it, which cannot latter be changed.
The Boss drop will be named "[Set Name] Cipher", and when rolled rolls again for dungeon specific set type. It is not BoP, is of gold quality, and can be sold to a merchant for 500g

Give all vet bosses a rare chance at dropping a "[Set name] Scrap", it is not BoP, is of purple quality and can be sold to a merchant for 100g

Writ merchant now sells three additional gold quality items, at a price of [x] vouchers:
    Aetherial Resin
    Aetherial Temper
    Aetherial Wax

To craft an armor piece of the desired set, a player must have:
Access to the required attuned Artificer Station
    [x] amount of Aetherial material
    [x] amount of scrap pieces.
    The required base material
The desired Trait to be unlocked, and the Trait gem
The Smithing skill needed to create the level of the item.
The desired style to be unlocked, and the Style material

    maybe.

    me?

i went out there myself, got an IC armor master stations and set it in my home open to my guildies.

Now they can craft the set without going into PVP zones if that is not their thing.

i suppose some would use the term lazy.

Maybe have a limit to the number of crafted dungeon sets you can equip? For example, you can craft "x" set after collecting so many tokens or vouchers or attuning yourself to the super special crafting station inside the dungeon and wear only 2 pieces of that crafted set, the remaining pieces must be collected from dungeon drops. It certainly could be a good way to help a person obtain that elusive piece they want for their set. It should also be BoP to prevent flooding the market with dungeon sets.

I honestly think a token system would be better where you just collect so many tokens and purchase gear from a token vendor.

I'd rather prefer they make it so you have to find a piece of that set (any trait) research it @ 1 week, then allow you to craft it in any trait you want at any level but on top of that make it only craftable at a mythic station at home for a high value voucher for 500 like suggested. The station would only allow you to craft regular non set parts and dungeon research only. Not bound to a single set because there are simply too many. This would make crafting great and worthy again. Also give us a crafting station for Jewelery already. Preferably in house so that player homes have a use besides a good sink.

There shouldn't and I highly doubtful this will see the light of day. Not BoP?? Why do dungeons when you know someone that can craft x set you are looking for from the dungeon. Next you guys will be asking to craft trial gear.

    Make crafting great again!

I do not think this will happen for what should be obvious reasons. If Zos were to even consider it, the means to get it would not be easy. Probably many writs and require something else equivalent in difficulty to getting a a weapon of a specific set in the desired trait.

Would rather Zos fix how challenging it is to get a weapon in game.
