I havent even went to DB Zone yet and ive had it for over 3 months. Reason being TG sucked big time so i already know that DB will as well. Reading some reponses here i know i was correct in thinking that

It's very disappointing how little respect to TG and DB was shown by Zenimax. They appear to have just thought, "***, we need to release some DLC. I know, let's cash-in the fabled DB and TG names because that'll reel in the fans!!", then released content that could be any old thing.

I fear the same thinking is behind Morrowind; cash-in on a really important part of TES to reel in the numbers, then deliver something small and insignificant. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm waiting for release on this one.

I thought that leveling up DB was super tedious, and I sure don't want to do it again.
But it's worth it for that one passive that reduces aggro by 50% when you're mounted. I can now get on my horse and ride circles around mobs and they won't even notice me unless I'm right on top of them. i love it.
I also like the two costumes you get from the questline, particularly the first one you get. The second one looks good on males, and terrible on females.

But yeah, leveling up the skill was painstakingly awful at times.

My only real beef for Db was the leveling.

In TG the daily delves and world bosses and all the other stuff all advanced your skill lines. plus there seemed to be more side quests which also advanced the story line. Did the lower skill levels also require fewer points? not sure.

As a result, in TG the typical activities kept pace with the skill levels needed to advance. There was very little "grind theft board" for leveling required.

With Db, it was different. The daily delves and such did not advance skill line but dropped set pieces. The side quests did not either. Each level required 50 pts iirc. The main questline did not come close to providing sufficient skill line advance to keep up and so for every level after 2 you needed to do several of the daily sacraments or contracts.

But on the other hand, because the contracts are not dailies but are quickies, when i went back to advance a quartet of characters to level 4 shadow supplier, it was a bit tediuos but quick to just get to level 2 then run about 15-20 contracts and be done with it.

So, for actual play thru - not so good. For non-play-thru advancement grinds - pretty good.
