Have they updated Dark Brotherhood yet?

This was the biggest let down for me. The passives, and the content was weak. I want to be an assassin but I feel it is a waste of time compare to Thieves.

Glad you found it funny but I am serious. I been waiting for DB for so long, and for it to be this lack luster is crazy. Changes that I feel are needed.

    1) XP from blade of woe should be 100 percent. I see people aoe pull mass things and drop stuff like super quick. Instant killing a target is not going to break the game or the xp with how stupid aoe and some proc stuff are.

    2) After doing some kills with the book of woe. Every 4th one should be a high profile target, that is tougher but has bigger pay out.

    Like two simple changes.

Dark brotherhood was lack luster. That's a a silly thing to get upset about lol. It has no replay value, no reason to come back once you went through the quests unless you farming for the motifs. Other DLC you got new dungeons, trial or arena.

Stupid from a balance point of view? halfing xp from effortlessly murdering with the blade of woe isnt bad, and none of the passives really affect balance at all so its good. Dark brotherhood passives are pretty useful for leveling up legermain and getting that 1 mil fence achievement dye. Blade of woeing a person after stealing from them makes their inventories respawn faster so I am content from a thieving perspective. shadow rider is also a good passive...

"I want to be an assassin but I feel it is a waste of time compare to Thieves". Go ahead and rp a assassin blade of woeing everything in your path. steal their belongings when they are dead and make a living as an assassin idc. If you are a elder scrolls lore junkie like me every dlc is worth it as you get to learn about a zone or a faction of this era. Go and play the story and get to know the dark brotherhood of this era. Tho if it bores you I understand as it is pretty lackluster compared to oblivion's darkbrotherhood questline but more entertaining than skyrim's for sure

I'm sorry but what you said was dumb. For one balance point of view? We aoe things and pretty much instant kill them. Also useful for leveling leger? All you got to do is go to a tower steal all the weapons, relog do it again and again.

I don't know all you said makes me feel like you don't understand this game at all. With procs you pretty much kill things with ease faster than you do sneaking up and do blade of woe, and even aoe stuff gives more.

Second off, wanting DB to be better is not asking much, it blows right now. Not worth the money, and to laugh about simple changes, two that would add a little bit of flavor to it. I don't know, no wonder this company gets away with too much stuff. Take one step forward and two back.

tbh regardless of what my thoughts would have been prior to any other responses, seeing you refer to DB as "the biggest letdown" for you and then your main points are about xp gains from instagibbing singular npcs and getting some extra loot on occasion.

That's pretty funny, it's called being histrionic since we're tossing terms for phenomena out there :p

IMO both TG and DB were disappointments. Passive skills, okay storylines that require you to grind dailies to proceed through, the zones themselves are... pretty, pretty and not very big. Predictable world bosses, predictable delves, pretty much the only thing setting these zones apart from any other in-game is that they're smaller and contain more unique props designed just for the occasion. At least TG has Maw of Lorkhaj pinged to its side.

Hold on, I said two things that could quickly improve it. The very system needs some core changes, but two SMALL changes that could at least keep the system we have with some tweaks. Yet, you people blew it up like a big deal.

So please don't turn it around on me. You guys are the ones who made yourselves look like that.

Also this game has so many flaws for me, but the DB one irks me the most.

    The lack of Global AH.
The combat is dull and unbalanced.
    Grouping is not done well.
    Dungeons are dull.

I mean I could give more of a list, but I was focus on DB tweaks that is needed to be at least on par with Thieves guild. Two small changes.

I thought that leveling up DB was super tedious, and I sure don't want to do it again.
But it's worth it for that one passive that reduces aggro by 50% when you're mounted. I can now get on my horse and ride circles around mobs and they won't even notice me unless I'm right on top of them. i love it.
I also like the two costumes you get from the questline, particularly the first one you get. The second one looks good on males, and terrible on females.

But yeah, leveling up the skill was painstakingly awful at times.

You come here and ask for update on DBH and when people gave you answer and basic say "ok i wont come back just for i think DBH is not what i want to be" fine i get that in one way but honest you cant let on DLC stop you for playing a game and if you do that you have to count that people think that is very funny and honest if you are like that to ESO i dont want to know what you do to other game that let you down with there game or DLC to there game.

Yes, both TG and DB were disappointing. In the standard TES games DB and TG are THE thing you're foaming at the mouth to play, but here they're just bits of forgettable DLC. I have not even bothered levelling up to get the passives, I can't be bothered to grind what is some of the most tedious content in the game.

This is the thing that makes me wary of Morrowind; judging by all ESO DLC apart from Wrothgar (which is excellent), it seems incredibly likely to me that Zenimax will again drop the ball. They just don't seem to be able to do justice to important bits of Elder Scrolls lore.

    They're not going to change the DB DLC or add anything. That piece of DLC is long out of the door and they're busy focusing on the next one. From my perspective, there could be a lot of changes to the DB DLC as of course my favourite DB questline is from Oblivion, and this (and indeed Skyrim!) pale in comparison. Things I'd have like to see are;

More DB sanctuaries with different contracts and dailies. (That aren't just copies of heists from TG)
Different ways of killing rather than just endless BOW. (Use the pick pocketing mechanic to plant things on people, for one thing!)
    Longer story.
    Shadowmere as a reward.

There are a couple of things I'd like to have seen. But they're not going to go back and change and add things. XP is a thing that would be a lot easier to change but as I said, DB is done and complete in their eyes and Morrowind is next.

    1) XP from blade of woe should be 100 percent. I see people aoe pull mass things and drop stuff like super quick. Instant killing a target is not going to break the game or the xp with how stupid aoe and some proc stuff are.
There are so many other activities giving a huge amounts of exp, it's really insignificant if you get 100 or 20% while using blade of woe. This blade is used for fun to see thrilling animation and to feel like a true assassin, not to get a score from kills. Probably low xp from blade was meant to restrain people from abusing this ability on everything in sight. Fair enough to me and I like it.
