Powerful Assault Set On A StamDK?

I was curious not many people use the set wanted to try something different but I think the set will be good on magic dk but wondered if you cast the assault ability does it increase the weapon and spell damage on the caster or just the 4 people around you? All ears just wanted to try out different sets on my dk.

offtanks in guilds I am in use it. I think it gives the buff to everyone it hits?

It's not for a magic DK, it's used by the off tank.

It gives the buff to 4 men when you cast a war alliance skill.

This set is medium, so a very strange choice for a mDK. The buff definitely affects you but I am not sure if it's 3 more people or 4.

Not many people use the set? It's BiS for tank/off-tank in trials lol, tons of people use it. Ideally yes, you want to be a stam dk tank and have the set equipped and pop Vigor during raids to buff those around you.

It buffs up to 4 players (wearer included), so as a buff set it's not that great, but yeah, people still run it in some trials, especially those where they min/max damage as much as possible.

@Duckbutta alot of tanks still use ebon in trials not often i hear them use powerful assault.

@Saturn ok so it's just a pve set for trials pretty much was curious cause like i said i do not see a lot people ask or say the use the set on console.

@Royaji yeah Idk just thought the set would be better on a mag dk then stam i don't know why i thought that too but yeah they cleared it up it's good for trials they said.

It's BiS for off tanks.
Keep using vigor and the buff gets on all members, not just 4.

It hits 4 players EACH CAST. So it hits 4 players, then you cast it again and it hits another 4 players, and so on. Its a great buff set and used by every off tank who understand trials mechanics.

In regards to OP, Medium, on a magic DK? How would you proc it, Proxy Det?

In trials tanks will run both, Ebon & Alkosh or Ebon & PA with the off-tank running the other set. All the good end-game trials teams do this, the tanks' main objective is to maximize dps as much as possible, and PA is a big part of that.

Then they must have changed it, because it used to only hit 4 targets and then remove / reapply on 4 new ones when refreshed.

Not even close man, PA is run by endgame tanks all the time, for vMoL it's considered pretty standard fare.

Use it on my templar healer for dungeons together with spc.

Off tank is a rare creature fit only for two vet trials in game. In current game off tank is better to be mag templar so no place for PA set there.

People just don't want to progress, they run on same pattern for 2+ years, while the game is evolving.

PA and SPC is BiS for healer, if you don't accept it you can cry I don't care.
