Can individual furnishings be used across multiple homes?

For example, can a single crafting station, or DPS dummy, be placed in the Serenity Falls Estate while already having been placed in the Ebonheart Chateau?

Or, would I need two crafting stations and two DPS dummies- one for each housing unit, respectively?

I crafted a chair and table for my apartment and later gave them to another player for their house... Worked fine. Also worked with purchased furniture.

However, achievmet furnishings are bound to your account.

If a chair is in Bangkorai then the same chair it cannot also be in Aurdion at the same time.

Unless it is a very special magic chair. There are no magic chairs yes.

The only exception seems to be that if you have a merchant or banker in your home yes and then call them while you are out and about travelling then they always return to where you left them in your home.

All furnishings that are actuall items in your inventory can not be present in multiple homes at the same time.
Those furnishings that are only present via the collections menu, such as mounts, pets, assitants or trophies can be present in multple homes simultaneously. However you can not have duplicates of those in the same home.
For example you can have both your guar and your horse in 2 homes, but not twice the same guar in one.

If I go to McDonalds and buy 1 (read: one) burger, can I eat it whole and ALSO give it to my buddy who eats it whole?

So yes, Mounts and pets are different. But everything else is one (1) physical item. Just like armor pieces you farm.

Yes you need 2.

Thanks for the quick responses everyone- case closed.

Some things can have multiple instances and some cannot. I wish furnishings could, but I am sure many would disagree on the basis that it would reduce the challenge of pimping out your crib(s).

I suspect the only reason mounts and assistants can be put in multiple houses is that it's impossible to get more than 1 of them.

How annoying would it be if you could only put your banker in one house? Even if you were willing to pay another 5,000 crowns you couldn't get another banker so you could never have it anywhere else.
