Why is being elitist a bad thing? I've never understood that. If you want to do the hard group content you want players who are going to work hard to get there.
Trading Guilds don't sell gold.. or they would get banned. Often times their GMs and officers are footing the bill to hold a trader for the rest of that community.

Do you have any real input? Or are you just going to complain about guilds because you can't run one as successfully as others are?

I am specifically speaking of "Top Guilds." on Xbox NA. You are blind or simply just refuse to see that Rawl'ka, Mournhold, Wayrest, Craglorn & Elden Root are owned by Mob-like Guilds that make new guilds conform or lose all their members. I've seen this first hand. A few GM's have been Banned for gold selling. Some of these guilds funnel massive amounts of gold through secondary guilds specifically to goldsell. That's why they hold down those spots. It goes deeper than you think.

I run one of those guilds. I know more about the workings of guilds and how GMs manage and continuously secure high end traders than you ever will. Sure people have been banned for selling gold. But that's extremely rare. Most GMs had to work very hard to build their communities and they value them far too much to risk losing them. To call us Mob like is too far, we want the guilds in those spots to be high end guilds so they attract more players to the area. Contrary to the urban myth we don't put just shell guilds in major cities to prevent others from bidding there. But if a guild is being fronted by a single person and has no real inventory, sure GMs have been known to team up to help a better trader secure the location. It's better for everyone if the stores there are solid and consistent.

Riiiight. I can name six guilds you have all teamed up on and bid upwards of 40 mil every week just to run them out because they wouldn't either A. Play by your rules or B. Pay you tribute. It is very much so a mob mentality, you run off any up and coming or even well established guilds so you can own the top cities in the game. And yes, you are a network of corruption with filler guilds, some are even donate only yet hold a top trader spot in a prime city? Riiiight.
Enjoy it while it lasts.

The sad part is you all locked down the spots so you bidding 5 mil to get it. Anyone else rolls in and pulls the rug, you all jump on them the next week & outbid(throwing one of your shell guilds into thieves dens for that week) Usually it's the "Squad' Guild that retaliates, really not trying to hide it aye? Rawl'ka Squad, Mournhold Squad, Tamriel Squad. Elden Root Squad.
Pretty sad really, the members of these guilds are completely oblivious to any of this. 40 mil is an example of how extreme you people will go to run any guild that's not in your 'squad' out of town
Your 'community' is an economic monopoly backed by mob tycoons & yes, there are MANY of you that goldsell, some even make a living doing it, it's getting caught that is rare. If you aren't bidding 40 mil a week, how does 60 disappear out of the bank every week? It's easy to goldsell, WoW encourages the ***.

How often does a guild roll in and try to claim a spot on your turf? like REALLY claim it. You lose a shell for three-four weeks a row, you bid for 10 mil the first week and lose, 15 the second week and lose, 25 the third and win. Then 30. It's not for week, it's about claiming. Besides, when six guild masters are pitching in several millions apiece to keep their turf and shell claims, it's easy to accumulate 40 mil.

You can stop fronting bro. Everybody knows, especially everyone else running guilds. I am in a guild that scrambles every one of you in rotations, you can't lock us down because we hit every city different weeks and never the same place two weeks in a row. Rawl'ka one week, Mournhold the next, always top trader and you guys go beserk, it's exciting.

So you claim guilds are bidding 40 million a week and are also selling gold? What gold would they be selling? 40 million a week bids.. HA! If your guild model is that profitable, teach me. TEACH ME MASTER. I'M BEGGING YOU TEACH ME!!!
For someone who says they dot run a guild you sure do seem to think you know quite a bit about how they work. You being completely wrong is besides the point. The fact that you are so certain is both sad and hilarious.
The fact that the same guilds are in the same spots every week for the last year or more is the truly sad part and I hope ZoS investigates.
You mean there are guilds out there who are able to hold a consistent location and you cant? They must be cheating!! Only you know how guilds work!!

PvE guilds are elitist scum
Traders are corrupt gold sellers.
PvP guilds are still very much alive.
Why is being elitist a bad thing? I've never understood that. If you want to do the hard group content you want players who are going to work hard to get there.
Trading Guilds don't sell gold.. or they would get banned. Often times their GMs and officers are footing the bill to hold a trader for the rest of that community.

Hey Fiddle how were you able to take out a guild that bids 40m every week when your bid was only 6.8m this week? Do you actually think people buy into your tinfoil wrapped schemes? Seriously. Stop trying to cause chaos you're only hurting your own guild, and eventually you're going to *** off every GM so they just refuse to work with you. Pick a location of a weak guild and hold it. Stop messing with guilds and players who help make the game enjoyable for your personal amusement. It's just sad. Bid on me this week. I'll even pm you a screen shot of what I'm bidding if you want.

It's pretty easy when you have a 'community' of guilds and GMs backing you with gold and locking down your spot for you. Thanks for proving my point. Corrupt Monopolies.
Personally, I don't even care that much. The gold selling needs to be investigated, addressed and punished. The Alliance controls the market. As for me, as long as my stuff sells, I really don't give a damn. Still, if I were to create a trading guild and rise to the top, I too, would oppose the bs going on right now and I would encourage others to do so as well.

I'm not "fiddle." I don't even know who that is. You seem to have name shamed, pretty sure that's against ToS. Then again, so is Gold Selling.

Tinfoil hats? You literally contradicted yourself and disproved your defense, losing all credibility.
Community that gangs up and runs out any guild wanting to sell in their city - Mob Mentality
It's so rare that any guild can even touch the alliance due to the network of corruption that you single out a guild called "S&D" and someone named "Fiddle" as a thorn in your side. All are welcome, except "S&D" aye? Yet no new guilds in this supposed community of Donate Only guilds in top tier spots with little inventory huh, weird. Must be what you dubbed as "Shells." Which is just an urban myth in this PvE/PvP style team that combats any guilds trying to also be successful.
If all of the GM's logic are as bad as this then now I have to create a Trading guild and do whatever this "S&D" is doing if it has you so on edge, yet you're friendly and welcoming to guilds.
