Crafting Sets From Crown Store not working

I bought all three crafting sets thinking they can be used by all my characters. I have five characters with three from each alliance. My thought was that I want to be able to craft gear with my higher level characters for the lower ones. Oddly the lowest level character had the option to use all three but the highest didn’t have any options. Is there a skill I have neglected to select that prevents me from using the crafting sets?

If you're speaking about the crafting motifs these function exactly like the normal books meaning you can only use them once and it unlocks it on the character that used them.

So if you've used them on a lower level character and not your higher level crafting ones then you've consumed the items on that character and would need to buy others to get them on more characters.

If it was an error in this way then send a support ticket to ZOS customer support (help in game or https://help.elderscrollsonline.com and log in) to see if there is any help they can give you.

I don't remember clearly at this point, but it might have to do with the skill level as well. Some of the motifs need a certain level in smith/wood/cloth before you can use the motif. Whether that's true for crown store versions or not, I don't recall.

Thank you for your replies. I did some digging around the support site and indeed the motif packs can only be used by one character. You can transfer the packs to the bank for your other alts to use but once they use it then it is no longer available to your other alts.
