@Alcast I am happy I saw this post. I had been looking for a guide that has the kind of detail you put into your guides for a while now. Thank you for the amazing work on all of that.

Alcast is all sorts of awesome.

I agree. A lot of time and work goes into his website with all the videos, guides, etc. It saves me a lot of random testing and keeps me from wasting mats.

Really nice design and lots of great information here, awesome job!

One suggestion for interesting future content would be some kind of advice/interactive way to figure out how much of a difference changing your race would make to your current overall build. For example, I'm currently running a Nord stam sorc as my main and have been since I first started playing, but recently I've started doing vet trials and have been considering a race change to Redguard. My main hesitation is that, naturally, doing this costs real world money and I don't know how much difference I will notice as I've learned to work with and make the most of my 'less useful' Nord passives. I'd love some kind of simple way to compare my stats before/after a potential race change.

I realise that this would be very complex to code with all armor/champion point combinations etc, but even if it was base stats without wearing armor and no champion points assigned, it would be great to have some visual way to see the overall benefit gains from racial switches.

Hey.. I have to say, it is good of you and the other experts of ESO with what you guys are doing in helping others, particularly new folks, to understand ESO better and to improve upon. However, I have to add (although, I haven't checked out this new site of yours) I couldn't hear well with any of your videos/clips from your previous site. I'm not sure if I am the only one. It doesn't appear to be my laptop or system. I could hear fine with other youtube clips. However, with your clips, I would have to turn it up to well over 60 to 80 in my volume, which by then is a lot of feedback. I'm not saying your site is not good, but I actually stopped checking it out after a few tries. Maybe your new site will be fine.

Just checked it out, really modern looking and nice. Quick question for anyone knowledgeable; I have two precise axes should I be running that for dungeons/trials or just slap on 5nmg(one dag/axe), 2p undaunted and 5 VO?

@Alcast: I'm just going over your petsorc build, and I'm a bit confused. ;)

In the text you write that you use the Haunting Curse morph as opposed to Daedric Prey, because you "basically do the same amount of DPS but the rotation is easier". Did you test this explicitly? I mean the DPS part? Because 55% more pet damage to the boss sounds like it should be more than the additional one-time 13k damage after 8.5 seconds for the haunting curse. Also, in your video you do use Daedric Prey.

Also, you write that you use Inner Light as opposed to Aegis, because you need to double-bar the latter and you want a skill slot for the shield. Again though, in the video you use the Aegis and not Inner Light. The latter additionally feels a bit wasted, since it gives Major Prophecy which you already have through your potions.

Hehe that sounds cool but I am a codenoob so this will not be possible :/ Grind up another character to feel the difference, if you do have the time. Especially in end game you will notice great differences.

The reason why Inner Light is better is because you only need to slot it once compared to Aegis. So you can slot a shield on the backbar. If you do think you dont need a shield then ye go for Aegis as it gives slightly more magicka.

About the Curse thingy. My guildbuddies say the difference is very small. And as I like to make rotation as simple as possible, I chose to go with haunting curse.

thanks everyone <3 If ya got more stuff just shoot!
