Probably Morrowind will be the end of ESO for me if things keep going the way they are!!

First and biggest problem, I'm gonna pay the 40$ only to play the Warden class, dont care about the other stuff. Problem is I have all 8 slots full so I need to buy 2 more slots for Stamina and Magika Warden which is another 30$.

So 70$ Just to play the new class? No Thank you.

Follow that with the removal of sustain cp options to balance pvp and ruin pve and which is what I play 90% of the time? Not to mention VMA without sustain.

Another thing is the horrible RNG which ZOS intends to keep this way by design.

The horrible trait system which is only one viable trait and the rest is trash

The horrible balance?

The horrible bugs and lags?

But all they keep doing is making crown crates, housing and more cosmetics just to make more money.

I might not even get to morrowind to many issues that just seem to get ignored , yet they are happy to keep taking our money and supply a product that just doesn't cut it

It sounds like you are not interested in additional PvE content and questing, which is perfectly ok, but that's the main purpose of this DLC. You should skip it and see if the Warden class issue available through the crown store in the future or wait for the dlc price to drop/crown sale/etc. I do believe you receive character slots with the DLC as someone else mentioned. Your other issues don't seem related to the DLC, more the game itself.

Unbroken version of the game will be available in the crown store -- in installments.

I wont be buying the expansion- I love this game, but almost every aspect of the game has a key mechanism broken and yet there is nothing but silence officially -- while they continue to comment on most of these.

the communication here is some of the worst Ive ever seen...

This is 1 of the problems I too have with deciding to get Morrowind or not. I like to have mag and stam versions of all classes and would also need to purchase 2 additiional slots if they're not included with the expansion.
Really hoping ZOS see the benefit of maybe offering character slots included with the expansion as an incentive to those that are undecided about buying Morrowind.

I assume this is independent on Morrowind, or is it required.

Make me also wonder why its an limit on characters slot you buy for money?
You can only use one the others rest on an hard drive. $15 for an couple of megabytes is an good deal for ZoS and keep altoholics happy.

It has been confirmed we will be able to buy 2 more slots. I'm already saving crowns for it. But if more slots become available, so much the better *hint hint ZOS, my Khajiit want more littermates*

I thought I read somewhere that two slots would come with the expansion. Not sure but might have been reddit. Doesn't make sense to not provide a slot for a new class. Most mmo's I have ever played do that. Zeni surely knows that long time players would have all 8 slots used up. If they don't give us at least one slot, that's pretty much taking a dump on the community with the price of the expansion. I don't mind paying for dlc, but having to buy extra slots to accommodate it is just ridiculous. Hope they use their brains......

Even more reason for me not to bother. I actually couldn't give 2 *** for the warden tbh. If I can't burn people with fire or bash thier heads in with a hammer or stab them up I lose interest. I really couldn't care about throwing a bird at someone or freezing them to death slowly. No doubt it'll be op at launch (deliberately to encourage sales) and then slowly nerfed down like DKs were up until 6 months ago. But all the skills look too mishmash to serve a singular purpose or tanking / healing or dps it's more of a hybrid and will just imo end up the jack of all trades but master none. I'll keep my crowns for the next batch of scam crates.

There is a misunderstanding here about the character slots.

You won't get 2 free slots with morrowind, you will have the option to buy 2 more over the previuos extra 4 slots you could have bought

So you play PvE 90% of the time, but you aren't interested in Morrowind at all? You just want to level two Wardens through the content you've already done 8 times? What exactly do you do for endgame? Just dungeons? vMA? Morrowind offers a new trial, but you said you're not interested in that, so I guess you don't do trials.

Can we just call this like it really is? This is the second thread (that I've seen) from you about being mad about not getting free character slots for the Warden. That's fine. Complain about that if you want, but I have a hard time believing that a person who plays 90% PvE has no interest in a large PvE expansion, that offers new quests, exploration, a new trial, and I'm going to assume a decent amount of new gear sets. You can be upset about not getting free character slots without the hyperbole of paying $70 dollars for only a new class. I highly doubt you'll avoid Morrowind, or any gear drops, crafting stations etc... that come with it. You're getting more for that $40 than you're pretending.

I think more and more are waking up the fact ESO is on it's way out...for a while now...it's never been fully stable, ZOS have always been too greedy focused and the bugs are endless....and that does not even cover the zillion other things and issues that make players move to other games....

Fake Expansion and screwing over subs from "all downloadable content" to "all DLC content"...then charging for more character slots when a new class is released...is just another in a long line of ZOS screw ups.

It's your money. Do with what you will.

But if you think paying another $70 for a game you've invested so much time to fill 8 slots isn't worth it, ZoS isn't the one with the problem.

Oh i've paid way more than 70$ for this game on so many things, even subbed for a while, i ve been playing for 2 years now and have a lot of time and money to this game, so me expecting some work from ZOS is not too much to ask for.

Well ESO stories have never been that engaging and since I have never even finished VMoL till now a new trial which is just as hard is not for me.

Battlegrounds? Not much of a PvPer

I mostly enjoy hard 4man dungeons and an occassional Trial that is not VMoL. I doVMA and rarely IC pvp.

I have 8 different characters a Magika and a Stamina of each Class and enjoy playing differently with each along with playing tank and healer as well.

The new sets can be interesting, but thats as much as Im getting out of Morrowind.

The problem is also all the other things i mentioned, if it was just about a high priced expansion I could have lived with it.

A fair goal, but I am not sure why ZOS needs to ensure that this is part of the game when Morrowind rolls out. I can see from their perspective. They provide additional character slots. Do I think they should provide at least one extra class spot? Yes. Particularly for pre-order upgrades. It is not like it will break their bank if they offer a character slot token, but it is a $15 value, and that is not nothing.

If I had to guess, the percentage of players who have 8 characters today is probably very small. An extra character slot token would be a waste for a lot of players. More players would not need it than would find it beneficial. Perhaps they will offer a 50% off sale for Character Slot tokens when it releases.

It has been a while since Doom and Gloom has run rampant through the forums. Probably time. The desire to leave is usually fueled by change. The need to tell everyone comes from the general human perception that we are all average, so most will agree, often enhanced by the fear that we aren't, and they won't.

Chapters and Morrowind represent a huge change. Lots of nervousness. Is it worth it? Pre-order and play right away, or wait until it is on sale? Why does it offer some amenities, but not others? Will ZOS screw it up beyond comprehension?

I think Morrowind pre-orders will far exceed expectations. People who leave the game over it will be in the minority.

If anything more are getting nerfed with the upcoming Morrowind.. that is likely the cold turkey for me! I have been on the fence since nerfing of some of the stam skills with the housing updates.

The Morrowind update has 30 hours of content which is not a lot for the price, that is why the dev's do not call it an expansion, a real expansion which would cost about the same and have 100's of hours content loaded with new features and QOL, double or triple the size of the world.

I am very disappointed at the manner in which ZOS handles their game when it comes to fixes and bugs, exploiters and cheaters, things that affect us all in a negative way.

I do enjoy the pve in this game, and I will enjoy Morrowind I am sure, but I could enjoy it more if the long loading screens were fixed along with long list of other bugs we all know have been in the game for far to long.

Pay the $40 plus buy the character slots and complain about the price and ZO$ and the rest of it.

Buy the Morrowind Digital Edition, get Tamriel Unlimited [base game] and a full 8 slots for $59.99. Get the adventurer's pack for pre-order. Ten dollars cheaper than the $70 you quoted, and 6 "extra" character slots for "free".

Why do you bother with a game you apparently dislike so much?

why is it people complain like spoiled children about morrowind and the 40 USD that it will cost YET no one gives two cares about WoW that is P2P + 60 bucks for every new expansion? Also the slot issue is your OWN fault because honestly you have one of each built type (mag/stam per class). And the fact you are upset because you need to shell out 40 bucks for morrowind and DO NOT care about the vast amount of content they are adding along with the class. Its not like melemancer for deiablo 3 where you will need to buy the class alone and knowing them it will be 30 bucks.

I feel the same way. Looking at the possible changes to CP next patch, not really interested in playing if I'm going to be running out of resources ten seconds into a fight.

One of the things ESO has going for it is there are no major western MMOs being released any time soon. We have a lot of kickstarters in alpha and early beta, but nothing solid yet that can put a challenge to the section of the market ESO currently has.

Once Crowfall/CU release, they will probably take a lot of ESO's PVP community, and Elyria and Pantheon will probably take the PVE community. But these games may not see the market tell next year. So Morrowind here we come, until something better comes along!
