Non trial gear for sorc

I know BSW is good, and I'm still farming it. But with 5 BSW, 2 Ilambris, that leaves 4 pieces. What's a good set to go with right now? I don't have any dlc at the moment so malestrom staff is out and I'm not quite prepared for trials

Yeah. Awful lot of trial gear being mentioned for a thread literally titled non trial gear. And no dlc right now which rules out moondancer. Seems like you have to pay for best gear. Which I'm not complaining about, dlcs should have good gear

Willpower jewelry and random sharp staffs are probably the answer you are looking for.

Willpower 3 piece is frankly stronger than other 4 pieces. You could very easily go 5 BSW, 3 willpower, 2 llambris, Random sharp staffs. When you get your Moondancer Jewelry, swap that in. If when you get Moondancer and VMA staffs, swap those in as well. You can still pull plenty of DPS without any of that stuff, certainly enough to farm the gear in question.

Certainly you could. I dont think it will be as much DPS as what we mentioned, but It will be pretty close. Even after the nerf, Llambris adds a respectable amount of DPS.

Hmm.... Your best bet would likely be to go:
- 3x Willpower jewelry
- 1x Lightning Master Staff (sharpened) for frontbar
- 1x random Inferno Staff (sharpened) for backbar with a spell power enchant

If possible, I highly recommend trying your best to participate in 1-2 veteran Hel Ra runs to get gold IA jewelry as it does drop commonly

Also, subscribing for 1 month to farm out any trait of a vMA inferno staff as well as *maybe* some Maw of Lorkhaj grinding is a good idea imo.

With out trials or DLC content, it would be absolutely best to run 3x Willpower. The staves are up to you, as long as they are Master staves or have a Spell Damage increase enchant on them.

OP. There are normal trial versions for each. You could easily run those with any grpup. Overall the mechanics are very mild compared to the vet version.
