From someone with the Unsurpassed Crafter achievement and 8 max-level crafters doing 6 writs each every day.

Dammit. Now I'm going to have to test that one...Hand_Bacon wrote: »2. Don't open an Alchemy vessel first, because if you get one in there, you won't get any others that day.
That's ok, I generally don't do alchemy ones because I don't think they're worth wasting nirnroot on.

This one has the most motifs and many recipes yet many of her apprentices who have less of these, but are maxed out in the relevant craft, seem to be getting the master writs just as much - perhaps even slightly more so yes.

I am convinced that motif known and recipes known play no part, or at the very least a very insignificant part in getting master writs.
I realize zos said they increase the chance, but knowing all motifs could only increase chance by .01% and that statement would still be true.

Also
Ebony motifs don't count.

Easy Beavis, that's why they are myths
You posted some easily falsifiable myths and I gave them a well-deserved debunking. No reason to get salty.

lol I'm not salty and there was never a presumption of truth behind them. I felt like you got all worked up in some sort of "crafting ownage" lather and felt the need to "lay it down."
Or maybe it was just a chance for you to show off your plumage.

Why? Nirnroot is so easy to get. Go to the Hollow City and there will be your days worth in front of your face when you spawn in by wayshrine lol. Nirnroot is probably the easiest alchemy reagent to farm. Always near water and hums and glows naturally. Thats why I have 4x.more nirnroot than any other reagent even after a year of it being the only thing writs would take. By the way, since housing the writs dont always take nirnroot. 90% of the time yes -but I got one the other day that just wanted Lokhrans Tears.
Plus Master Alchemy writs are easy vouchers.
