After doing VMA a few times since Homestead has gone live on PS4, my drops have been as followed:
- Maelstrom Sword and Maelstrom Shield
- Maelstrom Restoration Staff
- Maelstrom Restoration Staff
- Maelstrom Bow
Weren't those 3 weapons supposedly decreased in likelihood that they'd drop, according to the patch notes...? Granted I've received 2 ice staffs in the weekly rewards, as well as both axe and dagger — that's besides the point. That's not loot gotten from the last chest. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

✭✭Hehe pretty sure @DRXHarbinger is the guy with the most BiS weapons for everything he showed me a screen shot with like 5 Sharp mauls, 3 Inferno's and some shock staves in there too.
I still haven't got a single resto or bow from Homestead from the few runs that I've done. But I did get sharpened/nirn/precise axes and daggers 3 times in a row lol Too bad I already have more than I can use.@ Izaki #PCEU

Well then. Talk about 1 extreme to the other. Want to know the sad thing, however? You'll never hear about someone getting inferno staffs as frequently, or lightning staves. You really won't.0 -

As its now, recommended is to rebuild your character after the first sharpened weapon drop you get.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

@aLi3nZ Those 2 destruction staffs you received are good money. If you have a MagSorc or MagPlar, that lightning staff will put in work for you. You'll take in solid DPS with that. As for the ice staff, I think it'll work wonderfully with a MagDen (once Wardens go live). This is due to them being ice-oriented.0 -

So the troll game gave me nothing at all. The only sharp I ended up getting was on a resto which is pointless for a person who 1) Does not heal and 2) Heard is not BiS for healing anyways...
Not going to lie. I heard people have done this for like 500 Hours and still not got the thing they wanted so I am pretty unmotivated lol.. I also hate that sharp is the only worthy trait to use as a dps so my nirn destro is worse than a *** non set sharp crafted staff... lol wtf zos...1 -

Hah that is what I did for one of my toons. Chasing a sharp inferno and got a sharp axe/ dagger so decided to make me a stream dk. I just don't like stam so I hardly play him.
Have gotten alot of sharp weapons though. Multiple 2hd, multiple 1 HD, multiple resto, and multiple bows all in sharpened. But have only gotten 1 sharpened destro (lightning), I guess I can't really complain as others have had much worse luck. @alexkdd99 I'm literally in the same boat as you. Except I already had a StamDK, but hardly ever used them. When VMA first came out, and when the drops weren't guaranteed but came in good traits (precise, defending, and sharpened)? I literally only got stamina weapons. Tons upon tons of stamina weapons. The first staff of any kind I received was a restoratoom staff. Specifically a sharpened restoration staff. It wasn't until much down the line I received my first destruction staff, which was an infused ice staff.0 -

Infused mace is close to good drop but not good enough. I think ZOS should increase chance for decisive weapon a bit.Everything is viable0 -
