Hi, I really hope you can assist me, I have been off ESO for a few months and recently came back, downloaded the Dark brotherhood patch and noticed that the collectible by the name of Almalexia's Enchanted Lantern that I used to use was no longer unlocked. I attempted to unlock it again by redoing the 'a favour returned' quest but instead of the lantern being added to my list of unlocked mementos under the collections tab, it was added to my inventory as a bound museum Piece, with the description “this is an obsolete item. It no longer has any in-game value and is safe to destroy.” So I destroyed it, thinking it may appear in my mementos once I had but It sadly did not. I then abandoned the quest and restarted it, thinking that perhaps there was a glitch of some kind but I was rewarded with the same item again and not the memento. I then tried the quest on my other characters but had the same result. I then thought that perhaps the memento for some reason had been removed from the game but my friends could still use theirs without issue. I noticed that it does allow me to assign the Lantern to my quick bar but nothing happens when I attempt to use it. I tried google and searching the forums here but no one else seems to have had this issue so far.

I have contacted support before but was only able to check their responses recently as I had not previously verified my account via e-mail for which I apologize, to be honest when I purchased ESO on Xbox, I did not anticipate needing an account for the website as I do not game on PC, it did not occur to me that I should create an account for other reasons, learning curve I guess. I wish to apologize to Nadia as I see she contacted me before in regards to this issue but I never replied due to the fact that I had not yet verified my e-mail.

I just downloaded the homestead update and hoped that the issue had been resolved but I still have the Lantern as a museum piece in my inventory.

I had found the lantern to be especially helpful while in dark dungeons and am finding that I am missing it quite a bit lol, I understand that there are more important issues than this atm but is there any way you can please assist me with this issue when time permits? I don’t understand why I seem to be the only one experiencing this problem.
