I totally agree, especially since the offerings in the Crown Store aren't that extensive to start off with.

I agree, the crown crate seasons are too long.

Would be nice if they changed the content in the legendary categorie and below at least once trouhought a crown crate season

I agree. I've never felt so frustrated with a company because I want to spend my money but what I want is not being offered because it was one of those limited one time sales. Limited one time sales, while being "exclusive" are silly to me. I've literally never seen anyone wearing the Nord Hero armor on Xbox One.

It's not like they have a supply issue. The item is digital. Bring in flash sales, once a fortnight or something, sell skins and costumes, and do it very regularly. I for one would purchase more crowns on top of my sub if that were the case.

We can't spend money if the items aren't being offered for sale, ZOS.

I suspect they keep inventory low in the store on purpose to keep that element of "newness" whenever they do put new items in once a month. I guess that's their way of keeping things fresh and interesting. However, we all know they could easily keep more in the store every month and STILL rotate items and keep things fresh.

They have literally millions of new players now ever since they went to a no-mandatory-subscription model, and none of the newer players have been able to buy things like the gray dapple horse, and the gray horse, because for some reason they decided to not keep them in the store any more. They really need to bring them back for the newer players. Same with the mage costumes. ... Newer players never even got a chance to get them, and there's currently nothing in the store that's for mages. We'd gladly throw our money at these, but we can't buy what's not offered.

I would very much prefer a quarterly rotation of items available for sale in the crown store to the current system where items are retired from the store permanently to become a consolation prize in a future crown crate season.
Happy All the Holidays To You and Yours!
Remembering better days of less RNG in all the things.

Agreed. Dying to get my hands on the Imperial Officer costume pack. Can't enjoy my Imperial otherwise. I am a sucker for aesthetics. /cries

I agree with you but let me lay out their strategy.

Limited time sales instill anxiety in potential buyers and increase sales.

They also get to throw this stuff into lock boxes later, forcing players to gamble if they want something they missed.

And like you say, there's no supply issue. There's also no production issue. The amount of resources which go into making any of these digital items is relatively trivial so you know what, they can just keep making new limited time stuff. Forever.

That said, I much prefer GW2's model. They have limited time sales but old items make a comeback occasionally. I'm sure they get their sales boosting anxiety with that but players aren't crippled by disappointment if they miss something. They just need to be patient and vigilant to catch its return.
