How the group finder made me sick

I just came back to the game not so long ago, and half of the time I get into dungeon finder groups which i wait 20+ minutes for, I am instantly mocked or harassed that I dont have 400+ CPs currently at around 188) or that I don't know the mechanics... Note: We havent started pulling anything yet, and I am not dying to mechanics when we do pull.

Today, I get into a BC2 group that gives up after a couple attempts at the last boss, because the tank cant stay alive. We wait a while for a replacement then everyone else leaves the group kicking me out too (why is this a thing?)

Then I try for a vet 1 ( vet 1... guys) and someone starts being a *** about me being new to the DLC which wasnt around when I last played. I dc, and im back in under 3 minutes to find myself kicked from the group (why is this allowed? Why is there no buffer to make sure im not actually coming back?)

These kind of things make this game so frustrating.

I guess I've been very lucky in getting groups. I'm over 450cp, but I've been in a lot of groups with people well below and everyone has been quite civil. I had one group where the other high cp person was whispering me about "this is gonna be fun with these two (low cps)", and then that person later quit, but they never said anything rude in group chat.

I'm sure I'm bound to run into rude people eventually, but so far it has been a lot different than I expected based off of what I've read on forums.

A perfectly valid point of view. Just remember that so is wanting to fix group finder instead of abandoning it...

Easiest first fix imho is to remove the 15 minute penalty for anyone who is removed by others in the group.

Please fix group finder. MMO, you know lots of people playing online together should have a working group finder. WOW has one of the best group finding systems. Not only can I search for custom groups with whatever tag was created, but I can also look for raids, dungeons, and legacy raids. I sat queued for over an hour today for a pledge dungeon.

I'd love if trials were on there. I heard they were at one time. It's end game content for me which I am just getting to and it's near impossible to for a group of 12 people for these. The other dungeons were fine but after the update it takes longer to form than before.

If you go to Craglorn there's always people looking to fill out groups in /zone.

No. No it isn't. I normally do at least one pug a week in trials.

You are probably just very impatient and can't wait the 10-20 min it can take to get a pug together to do normal trials.

Pretty much daily on PC-NA there are pugs forming up in craiglorn looking for DPS or healers, and as a Tank it only takes one reliable friend (a healer) to get a group started with some zone shouting.

This would literally make people quit the game.

PUG groups for trials is not a good idea in the slightest imo. You will have people jumping in to get a taste of the action when they are not ready for the content. Just like what happens in dungeons now.
