Low FPS on Zhaj'hassa the Forgotten - Horrible Maw of Lorkhaj Performance

All throughout this trial, performance is horrible. I play on PS4 NA, and use a PS4 Pro.

Amongst the insane amount of freezes, crashes, and other issues players encounter performance-wise in Maw of Lorkhaj, it seems another issue has arrived with Homestead.

When I approach the door to the boss room of Maw of Lorkhaj, my FPS dips tremedously. By looking in the direction of the door, I barely can play the game and am at risk of crashing.

When I pass the door, the game performance goes back to normal. I get the same FPS issues again though during the boss fight if I look at the door (especially from a distance) or toward the room with the trial's first add spawn.

Has anyone else (specifically on PC) experienced this? Any ETA on a fix?

I'm on EU-PC and got this last night. And my PC is pretty much as good as it gets, so it's not specifically a console compute power issue.

Performance in ESO terribad on PC too. I was getting ping rates all the way up to 500 (up from an idle of 230 ish) and fps of 9-15, when an idle of usually 60 in most zones.

I ran vSO as well and 4 people crashed consistently, on top of everyone getting about 10 fps or less on all boss fights. It's only slightly better performance in there than when the game had the sound bug after 64bit was released.

They need to focus on the performance or ESO will eventually reach a point where most slightly taxing content gets unplayable for everybody. I mean even most populated zones have horrible memory leaks and ping rates.

Meanwhile they are just pumping out *** for the Crown Store and neglecting all the problems.

Haven't been able to do Maw without dcs on first boss since Homestead. :'(

I've had the most issues with maw at the fight with the 2 bells, and the first half of rhakkat. My fps flatlines and half the time the game will drop my session. That was before homestead, there's no fing way I'd walk do vmol atm. I'd be content with vma runs -.-

Low FPS is a main reason I gave up on doing trials. Very bad design creating huge lag even on good machines. Something with large groups of players. Observed this also in Cyrodiil. Up to 4 no problem, more that 8 = huge problem.

Don't know why you guys are experiencing issues. I'm on a constant 100 FPS (capped unless unlocked) with no issues.

Come on man, people asked for a harder trial and ZOS thought the lag would obviously make it harder so when doing Maw it is now a feature to experience disconnects and terrible FPS.

I'm annoyed since low FPS is still a thing when running solo nMoL.

I don't like it when I get Zhaj'hassa low on health and a vital skill cast doesn't go off because I looked in the direction of a door that slowed my game performance.
