Kicked from vMA as I was about to loot the chest

...and it was a Precise Destro Staff, much to my dismay. :'( I was unable to loot it and was then kicked to log in screen.
When I came back into the game, I had no portal to get back into the chest arena, and there was no chest on the room (as my guildmates said there should be in these cases). The staff was also not in my inventory. I've submitted a ticket along with proof that the staff was in the chest (via screenshot), and support has told me they have no way to help me recover the staff.
Has this ever happened to anyone and did you manage to solve it? Can support really not do anything regarding this?

✭Damn that sucks. Ive only managed tobeat vma once since homestead. It's so laggy now I cant get upstairs or dodgeroll crystals. I cant imaginr getting a dedent item and getting kicked after all that ;/1 -

✭things like this happened to me multiple times during pledges, which is why i now run auto loot on all my characters!
I Puffytheslayer hereby solemnly swear to sacrifice 3 welwa's & 5 servings of cheese in sheogoraths name, and in return he promises he wont kick me from vMA before i even get a chance to loot my chest!1 -

✭Happened to me and I couldnt get to the chest.
Wrote a Ticket to Support and It took them 3 weeks to answer.
Instead of giving me my sharpened maul, they just send me 10k gold and some repair kits1 -

@Ep1kMalware vMA has been awful to run since Homestead... This specific run feaured no visual effects on round 4, no ghosts on last boss and the rock would not protect me from the blast on the upper platform... 0 -

That sounds alot like what I've been seeing. You have trouble with archers in stg9 not animating their taking aim? I know it happens but lsst boss has been throwing down his 1 shot aoe about 60% of the time right after his first teleport. Been having consistant issues with stg6 where the totems are all visually webbed and I can't tell which is what.
Not to be cliché but at least I'm not alone, I hope you get the items you need OP. This game performance is inexcusable.Edited by Ep1kMalware on March 11, 2017 7:11PM1 -

✭✭I always make sure I have plenty of inventory space before I do dungeons and trials. You really only need about 15 in vMA.
But yeah, it does suck how incompetent support can be.0
