I don't understand why everyone gets rewarded a shipment of spidersilk or a shipment of sanded maple as a reward for doing the normal writs? What can I do with that apart from sell it? It's useless. At least reward me with crafting materials I can actually use.

I have 1 alt that I use for storage space and its level 3. Please don't tell me that having an alt influences my shipment reward. If I did the writ with my level 3 say, would it reward that character with ruby ash? Probably not. The way you get rewarded is crap.

✭✭✭✭Nah, don't know if having alts influences that. Guess not. But my guess on why you get those "unusable" ingots is, that you wouldn't get your hands on them in any other way. You will only find tire 10 ores if you are a master blacksmith. And for why you would need those, maybe to have mats for your alt. See it as a present. Doesn't hurt you to get them.
What else would you like to see as rewards for your writs? You've got surveys, tempers, lower tier mats, recipes, ingredients, glass motif stuff. If you don't like them, sell 'em or send them to me, I'll take 'em.

✭Ha, I could send em Id at least like to get 25 rubedite, ruby ash, ancestor silk or rubedo leather as a reward. I just honestly think that if they're going to reward me with crafting materials, it should at least be with the materials that I use and not stuff I will never use. I'd settle with style material rewards too actually. 0 -

I hate it but if you get a lowbie needing armor you have the mats for them.
To make it better I would love them to add the level 10 ruby mats and a chance to get 5 furniture crafting mats like they have in the heavy sacks now. Rngesus hates me but just the chance of that as a reward would be awesome.0 -

You get level 10 mats as surveys. And a lot more than just 25 from the box. And if you haven't noticed you either get a survey or a low level mat box. Still a better system than before when you had a chance to get a survey or nothing.
But yeah, furniture stuff would be nice to see.1
