My first warden will doubtlessly be some kind of milk-drinker, a Nord one at that..He isn't going to start out very skilled, I can say that much with confidence. However with time and practice he will wean from milk and have a proper diet of mead and meat like any proper Nord worthy of his beard.

Playing a Breton sorceror now. I'll make a Nord warden later, and dress her/him up Skyrim-style. :)

Depends how bad the stamina morphs are, if they even exist. Or if the pets have the same problem that sorc pets do and scale poorly with stamina and physical damage.

That shouldn't be a problem. As far as we know the warden has only 2 pets, the bear and the netch. Both are stamina friendly.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/elderscrollsonline/comments/5tpki7/warden_skills_in_eso_morrowind/

The bear is an ultimate and all ultimates scale with the higher your magicka or stamina.

The netch boosts your stamina regeneration. I'm hoping one of morphs does something for magicka instead but if the base ability is stamina it's a safe bet at least one of the morphs will be too.

So let's get this straight. First our home province is torn apart by the Alliance War, our people are scattered or enslaved by the Daedra and their mortal puppets, you must pay a few extra £s to play as one, Homestead replaces the correct furniture style with the wrong style for reasons unknown, and now we're being labelled as milk-drinkers on the forums. I propose a hashtag campaign to end this blatant racism against the Imperial race and to...
    #MakeCyrodiilGreatAgain
    #ImperialLivesMatter

On to the matter at hand, besides being my personal favourite race, Imperials have always been the go to race for when you don't know what you want and you want to choose something simple so you can't go wrong. Imperials are capable Tanks and DPSs and their passives mean that they are ideal for Stamina, but still a viable option for Magicka too.

From what I've read so far, Wardens seem to be a capable tanking class. A major selling point being it's very natural and somewhat environmentally friendly abilities, including a bear companion.

So if you're an Imperial and you're looking to do tanking, you now have the chance of joining the new hippie must conserve wildlife class or stick to the warming fumes and toxic gas releasing Dragonknight. (Don't bother with Templars, they're about as dead as Lyris Titanborn's chances of finding a man with... let's just say the "right tool for the job".)

Wow, this took a somewhat philosophical turn...

To shorten it, if you're an Imperial and you have a moral compass, now you have the option of going for a class which either gives you the affectionate passion for caring for Nirn and embracing its raw natural powers, or the class which may as well replace its symbol with a middle finger and give you powers to choke that poor hippie's bear companion to death with toxic gas or roast it with a flaming burp.

Depends how bad the stamina morphs are, if they even exist. Or if the pets have the same problem that sorc pets do and scale poorly with stamina and physical damage.

Or if ZOS refuses to give stamnia morphs (like with DK whip) so that Stam wardens are forced to run mainly weapon skills with like 3 class skills.

If stamina warden is viable, the redguard warden all the way.

But if Stamina warden is terrible for 6 months or longer like what happened with stam sorc and stamplar, then I guess we will have more magicka builds.

It would be nice if some of the healing magic had stamina morphs so we could have a proper stam healer but that would make negates pretty useless in PvP.

    And StamDK,

StamDK should be called Stamina Weaponknights
    Power Wealth And Influence.

    nord
I'm unfortunately rerolling my Nord. If ZOS ever adds a class change token - which should be done when they add a new class - I will change my Orc into a Warden too. I can't really reroll her, she has a limited time Crown Store motif that isn't up for sale anymore and I will lose access to it if I reroll her.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Most likely a stam bosmer.
That is unless there is something in the class skills that would make this a terrible option.
