Is hews bane to crowded

Are all the mats pretty much gone for you. no point in double the yield i can get more mats in starting areas if its not crowded i might get to farming.

To answer your question. Right now it's pretty crowded. I usually go late at night when people are asleep, or really early in the am.

A sea of node snipers on a map the size of a large postage stamp. Yes. It is FAR too crowded. Staying as far away from Hew's Bane as I can get until this event is over.

I just look at it as a draw away from other zones. why harvest at twice the drop if you harvest only a third the amount of nodes.

Why is it a surprise? Take advantage of players chasing elusive double nodes by farming in an empty zone with plenty of nodes. From what I saw, the doubling doesn't affect the furnishing mats anyway.

it definitely doesn't have the space wrothgar does...ps4/na - prime time (6pm to 1am est???) it looked full of professional farmers...speed gear and cp master gatherer included...still plenty of stuff to find though, no one even bothers much with the flowers, shrooms or even creatures...best farming spot??? - along the wall of abah's landing maybe...

been picking up a ton of chests...

i don't know - someone had commented earlier on the layout of hew's bane - and, in general how the landscapes of the dlc's were much superior to all the initial zones...but, some one specifically mentioned how the ability to walk along the rocks/cliffs and through the archways and small waterways gave the zone such an authentic feeling...excellent observation...

I've been finding plenty of materials even during peak hours. The only thing that's not worth doing in Hew's Bane right now is the bosses, because unless you're extremely high level, you won't be powerful enough to get the drops from them when there are 20 million people all shooting at the bosses at once.

It doesn't. Things like heartwood and bast and stuff are not doubled. So if those things are all people are looking for, then they might as well stay away from Hew's Bane right now.

I don't know, people are doing a variety of activities and it's only the overworld bosses/nodes which suffer from over crowding. 2x rewards on heists is amazing.
