Most of the builds for nightblade I have seen run one of the morphs of this. Is this a necessity or will it not make too big of a difference?

Nvm does 8% dmg not 20% that I was thinking of some other set woops.

I'd rather have it do like 6/8% and be a toggle than 8/10% and having to cast it every 20s, as other skills too.

Relentless Focus Increases your damage done by 8% and increases your Stamina Recovery by 10%. Most use it just for the damage done increase, as a 10% buff to your recovery is hardly anything, but still something.

On a magblade, it's a important part of the rotation. The Bow can easily deal over 30k+ when it's crits.

Stamblade, I'm not sure. That 8% increase in damage is nice, and I'm sure proccing that bow does decent damage.

I could name few classes in ESO that would gladly climb a mountain or two of breton infants corpses to get such a nice skill for themselves. It would be a complete waste not to use it.
On the other hand, who am I to tell anyone what to slot on their ability bar..

Use relentless focus, in my opinion its vital for your rotation. Not only does it keep your stam pool alive, it also increases your damage! If your using 2h and bow or 2h and dw then rally and focus really buff your stats.

The Bow proc on my Stamblade isn't inspiring, which is why I don't pay much mind to it. I've learned to try and keep Focus up as much as I can just for the stat buff, and if I've just so happened to do 4 attacks before pressing the button again, then I set the bow off, cool.

With Major Brutality, Major Force and Empower up I can see crits of up to 50k, so don't underestimate this skill. Also, it got easier to weave with Surprise Attack with this update somehow, so don't waste it. Proc it when you switch to your buff bar.

For pve i fire it, but i dont reapply a new one until the buff is almost gone. Pvp, whenever i want a burst

I prefer to use Syphoning Strikes than Grim Focus for the buff value of it. Flat recovery for each hit done is much greater bonus than 10%, especially if low on regen in the first place.

If you're in a raid and you have healers running Combat Prayer then the value of this skill drops dramatically.
