Stealing light armor

Is it possible to steal breton light armor pieces from stands? I need hat and epaulets. In the current situation I can find only altmer or dunmer hats/epaulets on a stands. And second trouble is placing in many shops ony medium helmets and jacks with shoulders. You may ask about reason. It is because breton armor from a stands have unique style. It may be low level but view like 30 lvl gear (cotton). So cool being 10 lvl char in the adequate armor looking like mid level. Thanks.
