Make it purchasable via real money （same money as 6month subscription）and only has 150 slots （still with unlimited stack number）（there are like 250+ kinds of mats, so subscription is still better）.
Like ZOS said themselves the majority of players are not long-term players, so the permanent purchase will only benefit the loyal players, and ZOS can generate more money from short term players who want to buy craft bag once and for all but turned out didn't stay for over 6 months

✭With the expansions being excluded from ESO+, my only reason to maintain the sub is the exclusive craft bag. The moment an alternative bag becomes buyable, I'll drop the sub. Simple as that. DLCs are not too expensive, the value of 1500 crowns per month is decreasing (as costumes and mounts get more expensive), and at 600+ cp I have no use for the other small boosts.PC-EU4 -

I guess they will rater go the other way and add more features to eso+ to compensate for morrowind to some degree as many dropped + because of it.

Unless you use 1. someone else's credit card with permission, or 2. a stolen credit card to pay, you are using "real money". Do you consider buying time cards to sub using "fake money"? You are still paying with "real money" one way or another. Whether or not you go through the crown store doesn't really matter. For that matter there are no "free crowns"; you pay your sub in exchange for those crowns, so not free.0 -

✭✭✭I do not sub, but I am often tempted to for crafting bag. I just don't spend money that frivolously. But if I could buy the crafting bag for crowns, I would load up during a sale.
To undermine the sub that profoundly the crafting bag would have to be priced outrageously, at way more crowns than anything we've seen yet. Any lesser version of the crafting bag would be foolish because it would be sufficient for many and would cause a lot of lost subs.0 -

Yes the xp, research times are nice but for me at least no reason to sub. I actually think subs should get more perks (maybe furniture dyeing or something) even if I might not be able to afford my sub when the next payment comes around.1 -
