Security key not working

I changed some settings and my IP changed. So i log in and enter my password.
I get an email with the security key.
I copy and paste the key in the prompt
Then i get the message: "An error occured"
Again i am prompted to enter my password. I enter the security key again and i get: "Last attempt failed blabla" and i get a new security key.
I am stuck in this loop. Anyone out there who knows how to fix it?
